  1. Postpublished at 21:04 BST 4 April

    Ulster 14-17 Ospreys

Edgy start by both teams here.

Scrum Ulster just inside their own half.

  2. Kick-offpublished at 21:02 BST 4 April

    Ulster 14-17 Ospreys

Jake Flannery gets us back under way at the Affidea Stadium.

  3. Half-timepublished at 20:48 BST 4 April

    Ulster 14-17 Ospreys

Ulster do clear through Stuart McCloskey who barges and thumps his way through defenders to run 40 yards.

Jacob Stockdale kicks possession away however, and Ospreys kick to touch to end the half.

All to play for after the break.

  4. Postpublished at 20:46 BST 4 April

    Ulster 14-17 Ospreys

Ospreys again win a penalty on halfway and kick deep into Ulster territory.

But this time they come away empty handed as Ulster win a scrum. They have struggled so far in this regard so the pressure is on to clear their lines.

  5. try

Converted Try - Ulster 14-17 Ospreyspublished at 20:40 BST 4 April

David McCann (conv. Nathan Doak) (35 mins)

    Ulster get over the line.

They play the pick-and-go game and it eventually wears the Ospreys down with McCann the man to leap over the line from just inches.

Nathan Doak does well to convert from out left in blustery conditions.

  6. Postpublished at 20:39 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-17 Ospreys

    They tap and go.

But another penalty as the Welsh region foul once more.

Five metres out and looking like another tap.

  7. Postpublished at 20:38 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-17 Ospreys

Ulster finally look dangerous as Jacob Stockdale breaks a tackle down the left.

As the ball is fed inside an Ospreys defender is offside, penalty to Ulster.

  8. Penalty - Ulster 7-17 Ospreyspublished at 20:35 BST 4 April

    Dan Edwards (30 mins)

No mistake from Edwards as the ball sails long between the uprights.

  9. Postpublished at 20:34 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-14 Ospreys

Penalty to Ospreys 35 metres out.

With the wind at their backs it is no surprise they point for the sticks.

  10. Postpublished at 20:33 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-14 Ospreys

The wind is really strong here at the Affidea Stadium and it's blowing into the faces of the hosts.

It may excuse one or two of the kicks lacking distance, but I don't believe Richie Murphy will swallow it as an excuse for the knock-ons that are really adding up now for the men in white.

  11. Replacementpublished at 20:28 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-14 Ospreys

More bad news for Ulster, as Rob Herring limps off to be replaced by Tom Stewart...who throws a skewed lineout straight away.

Ulster need to take a breath and regather here. The Ospreys have been great value for their lead.

  12. try

Try - Ulster 7-14 Ospreyspublished at 20:25 BST 4 April

Dan Kasende (conv. Dan Edwards) (20 mins)

Well, the answer is that yes they can make it count.

Some slack Ulster defending off the side of a ruck allows Reuben Morgan-Williams to snipe once more and he presents it beautifully to Kasende close to the line and he evades Stuart McCloskey before splashing over.

Edwards hits it between the posts with his conversion.

  13. Postpublished at 20:23 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-7 Ospreys

Ospreys win a penalty on their scrum on halfway. Dan Edwards kicks inside Ulster's 22 once more. Can they make this visit count?

  14. Postpublished at 20:20 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-7 Ospreys

Ospreys find their way back into the Ulster 22, but cough up possession and Ulster win a scrum before Nathan Doak clears to safety.

  15. Replacementpublished at 20:18 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-7 Ospreys

Early forced change for Ulster. Angus Bell leaves the field and is replaced by Sam Crean in the front row. Disappointing if that is permanent.

  16. Postpublished at 20:17 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-7 Ospreys

Everyone in the ground can take a breather for a moment as David McCann gets some shoe repairs.

It has been a frenetic start here in Belfast. The Ospreys could have folded after that early Ulster score but they have hit back quickly.

  17. try

Converted Try - Ulster 7-7 Ospreyspublished at 20:11 BST 4 April

Reuben Morgan-Williams (conv. Dan Edwards) (10 mins)

    The Ospreys hit back immediately.

They take a tap inside the Ulster 22 and drive through multiple phases. Ulster hang on but eventually their resolve is broken by a sniping try courtesy of scrum-half Morgan-Williams.

    Edwards adds the extras.

  18. Postpublished at 20:09 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-0 Ospreys

The visiting forwards now force a penalty just beside the posts. We await the decision of the Ospreys skipper as Iain Henderson receives attention.

  19. Postpublished at 20:07 BST 4 April

    Ulster 7-0 Ospreys

Ospreys have responded well to the try and win a penalty in their own half which they kick into the home 22.

  20. try

Converted Try - Ulster 7-0 Ospreyspublished at 20:04 BST 4 April

Cormac Izuchukwu (Conv. Nathan Doak) (4 mins)

What a start from Ulster. From the lineout they pick and go through numerous phases from left to right, before Izuchukwu gets his mitts on the ball five yards out and smashes over.

Doak kicks the conversion, but needs the ball held on the tee, showing how strong the wind is out there.
