Two tries and a try-saving moment at the other end. He also made 23 metres and made 11 tackles.

Fraser McReight had some half of rugby, no wonder he is smiling.

From an Englisman, never rated Dickson. Letting Aussies put hands on the ground over rucks and hitting through the mark on every scrum!!

The Wallabies have shown real improvement over the last 12 months. Building nicely for the World Cup in 2027.

It's a try-scoring debut for Aaron Grandidier Nkanang, who was born to a Nigerian father and a French mother and grew up in England.

After playing for France at the Paris Olympics in Rugby Sevens, where he won gold, he's been handed his 15s debut today and marked it with a superb score.

That penalty right at the end of the half feels big for Australia.

Last week, they allowed Ireland to score right before the end of the half to let the visitors back into the game.

The wheels came off after the restart a bit, so it will be interesting to see how they approach the second half here.

Massive. Australia win a penalty as the French make a mess of their own maul, and that should be that for the first half.

France will have a penalty just outside the Australian 22 as Josh Canham goes off his feet.

Take the points or go to the corner? It's a big call for France.

Fraser McReight with a huge try-scoring intervention as he beats Jalibert in a foot race, slides over his own line but doens't touch it down, gets back to his feet and pops it off to Jorgensen to hammer it clear.

The ball has been in play for two minutes in a breathless period.

It's straight from the maul as a sea of gold just keeps rolling towards the French line, and Fraser McReight is the man to finish it off for his second try of the game.

That all came from Wright's 50-22.

Ryan Lonergan converts, and Australia have scored 14 points with their man advantage.

Emmanuel Meafou's yellow will remain just that.

Karl Dickson is told the contact to the head was secondary, so he'll be back in a few minutes.

  13. No try - Max Jorgensenpublished at 33 mins

    Australia 14-12 France

Max Jorgensen leaps for the corner but Oscar Jegou just does enough to dislodge the ball just before the Australia wing went to touch down.

Play is brought back for a penalty, but it could have been so much more.

    Australia are turning the screw.

Are we just all going to ignore Valetini driving his shoulder into Meafou’s face first?

    Jimmy, Somerset

Clear red card. Shoulder to head contact. Not good. Surprised the player didn't go off for a concussion review.

    Luke, Edinburgh

The Australians are deliberately dipping in very low in contact - what can you do as a tackler?!

    Fraser McReight (con Lonergan)

Australia had another penalty advantage but they don't need it as Fraser McReight picks the ball off the ground and burrows under two French players to reach the line.

Angus Bell had a big carry to bring the Wallabies close.

Ryan Lonergan converts, and the hosts lead.

Try-scorer Emmanuel Meafou, born in Australia, is sent to the sin bin and it's going to the bunker.

There was definitely contact to the head of Valetini, and he's off for a rest.

Will Australia take advantage of their extra man? They're going for a scrum five metres out.

Referee Karl Dickson brings play back and Australia have a penalty under the posts as Emmanuel Meafou is penalised for a high hit on Rob Valetini.

We're going to the TMO, and I think he could be in a bit of bother here.
