    Kyle Steyn

    Glasgow are in cruise control.

A lovely dink over the top from Huw Jones is pounced on by Kyle Rowe after some Clermont indecision.

He is halted just short of the line, but offloads to his captain Kyle Rowe and he has a straightforward finish under the posts.

An easy conversion for George Horne follows.

    Clermont 0-12 Glasgow

Glasgow concede a penalty at the breakdown and Clermont scrum-half Lucas Zamora - no relation of Bobby as far as I know - goes quickly and is eventually hauled down in Glasgow's 22.

Huw Jones and Sione Tuipulotu taking no time at all to link up and start wreaking havoc.

    Good start this from Glasgow.

    Clermont 0-0 Glasgow

Clermont flanker Pita-Gus Sowakula deliberately sticks out a hand to stop Jamie Dobie's pass out wide and is duly yellow carded.

Glasgow wanted a penalty try, but the officials decide there was too much doubt to award a seven-pointer.

Still, Dan Lancaster kicks the visitors into the corner - big chance coming.

    Clermont v Glasgow (15:15)

Memories of Glasgow’s epic comeback victory over the mighty Toulouse are still fresh in the mind, and today against another French side the Warriors can take a huge step forward in the Champions Cup.

Victory over Clermont Auvergne at the Stade Marcel-Michelin would set Franco Smith’s up for a cracker at home to Saracens next weekend and give them a real shot at topping the pool.

Warriors have had a quarter-final glass ceiling in this competition and players and coaches have spoken this week about going further than they ever have before. Victory today would go a long way towards that.

Huw Jones makes his first Glasgow Warriors appearance of the season this afternoon.

The Scotland centre has not played since the British & Irish Lions summer tour of Australia and will resume his midfield partnership with Sione Tuipulotu.

The Warriors are also boosted by the return of Kyle Rowe at full-back as they aim to retain top spot in Pool One, following wins over Sale and Toulouse.

George Horne starts at scrum-half, with Jamie Dobie retaining his place on the left wing after a comfortable URC victory against Zebre.

Matt Fagerson and Jack Dempsey are restored to the back row and Dan Lancaster takes over from injured fly-half Adam Hastings.

Alex Craig and Scott Cummings make up the second row, while Gregor Hiddleston and Zander Fagerson beef up the visitors' front row.

Jones, 31, underwent surgery on a long-standing Achilles injury after playing in all three Tests for the Lions.

Rowe, 27, has been out of action since November with a knee problem.

Bears rugby style is a breath of fresh air!

Bulls should at least get something for scoring 7 tries. If only they played like this in the URC. Sigh...

    Femi, Greenwich

No disrespect to Bristol, and as a Scotland fan, how awesome is Tom Jordan!!! But this Bulls team are a bad joke. Conceding 61 points at home in your supposed ‘High Altitude Fortress’! Defence strictly optional!
