England fly-half George Ford, speaking to Sky Sports: “We just wanted to perform well and win today. It’s all about the team. It’s a great win for us.
"We were under pressure first half, we gave too many penalties away and didn’t get out of our half enough. We needed to create some try-scoring opportunities and we did in the second half. We know Argentina are going to come back at us next week and it’s a challenge we look forward to.”

Argentina captain Julian Montoya, speaking to Sky Sports: “I think in the first half we had opportunities but we couldn’t make points and in the first five minutes of the second half we were very poor. We can’t have those gaps where we concede very easy points.”

It's all getting a bit loose as we move into the latter stages of the game.
Both sides kick to relieve pressure and Santiago Carreras manages to get the ball away despite close attention from the covering English defence.
The home fans didn't like that.

Justo Piccardo dives in at the breakdown and concedes the penalty, which George Ford bangs over from distance.
It's a sensible decision to stem the Argentina tide and stretch the lead.

The best of Argentinean rugby. The Pumas keep the ball alive with their terrific offload game out wide.
They break through close to the touchline before Pedro Rubiolo goes over with a pass back inside.

Jack van Poortvliet is onto the field in place of Ben Spencer but the Leicester scrum-half will want to quickly forget that.
He throws a forward pass to Henry Slade from a set-piece routine.
It hands possession back to the Pumas.

It's been a frenetic start to the second half and the game is much more open since the restart.

Argentina are finally on the board.
It all comes from a high kick, which England are unable to clear.
The hosts move into the England 22 for the first time in the half and Pablo Matera is on hand to score after Santiago Cordero's offload.
The conversion is missed.

They run a routine line-out move and Joaquin Moro loses control of the ball.
It's an unforced error which typifies the contrast between the two sides in the second half.

George Ford is pulling the strings and he has runners off him all over the place.

England are camped on the Argentinean whitewash before George Ford feeds the onrushing Freddie Steward to dive over under the posts.
It's a great line by the full-back before Ford adds the conversion.
