    FT: England 27-23 Argentina

Wins over Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Argentina ensure England finish the autumn with a perfect record.

A crazy finish - which you can recap here - nearly meant Steve Borthwick's side lost it at the death.

They head into the Six Nations next year on an 11-game winning run.

    Not bad.

Remember to read Mike Henson's report here.

    Until next time.

Max Ojomoh scored a try and set up two. More performances like that and he will add to his two caps.

Will he beat his father? On today's performance he could well be England's starting 12 for the Six Nations.

Fraser Dingwall had a great autumn until injury ruled him out of the game against Argentina.

Getting the win against a strong Argentina side while getting in new blood and building a deeper squad is exactly what is needed two years out.

Steve Ojomoh will be feeling immense pride. All you hope is that your kids come through OK and enjoy themselves, but that his son has been central to all that was good and ended up as man of the match with a try and two assists, their whole family will be so proud. They can never take that away, what a day for them.

Paul Grayson was a former England team-mate of Max Ojomoh's father Steve.

Argentina give themselves so much to do. It worked against Scotland but it won't against the bigger teams.

More from Ben Earl on TNT Sport: "We had our celebration last week, the nature of the autumn is that some boys have to go off and play on Friday. We'll debrief with our families in the changing rooms and go our separate ways. Steve (Borthwick) is brilliant at catching up with lads at the right time."

Ben Earl on TNT Sport: "Fair play to them, they keep coming back, don’t they? We were not at our best, it felt like an end of campaign performance, the emotional high of last week and trying to back it up this week but a win is a win, and we are pleased with it."

On Max Ojomoh's impact: "Domestic rugby gets a bad rap, but it is no coincidence that Max puts in performances at Bath and puts in a performance here. The league breeds good internationals, and he has been doing that for the whole campaign,. That’s the sign of a good squad."

Argentina showing spice after 80 minutes. Shame they didn't turn up for the first 15 minutes and then they wouldn't be moaning now.

Never behind in the game. Nearly lost it though. Well done Argentina. Didn’t play well, but still won. That’s the sign of a good team.

You have to find a way to win. You look at the starting 15, there were half a dozen players you would say would not be in England's strongest team.

They came up against a doughty Argentina and found a way to win, to preserve that record, it's a "W", that's it, it is in the books.

They found out some things, playing at pace they are a different animal, if they go backwards and play slowly they are more straightforward to deal with.

You have to tip your hat to a side that is growing, all experience is good experience but it is so good when you win.

It equals their winning run in 2000-01 under Sir Clive Woodward.

That included wins over world champions Australia and France. It all came to an end in the foot-and-mouth delayed Six Nations finale against Ireland.

    England Rugby

England centre Max Ojomoh on TNT Sport: "I understand what my role is and I was waiting to take it onto the field today. I gave a lot of energy in the week, and I’m glad I got to bring it to the field.

"I had Fordy with 100 caps inside me, Sladey with 70 caps outside me, I had a plethora of experience around me, I just needed to lean on them when I needed to."

    Just to recap that madness:

    • Rodrigo Isgro scored late to get Argentina within a score
    • Alex Coles was sent to the sin-bin
    • Argentina broke clear from the restart
    • England won the final line-out to win the game

There were too many changes today, that had too much of an impact, but Max Ojomoh had a great game. It didn't function today like in the last few weeks, it almost cost them.
