Converted try - Scarlets 10-12 Bristolpublished at 32 mins

    Gareth Davies (con: Sam Costelow)

Scarlets go route one and earn another penalty.

Playing with advantage, former Wales scrum-half Gareth Davies snipes, steps and then reaches over.

Costelow adds the extras - Scarlets back in this against the 14-man Bears.

Even better, Bristol boom the restart dead and it's a scrum on halfway.

    Scarlets 3-12 Bristol

It has been a very long half in Llanelli. They're already at half-time in Bath but there are nine minutes to go until the break here.

Scarlets win a scrum penalty and kick to the corner...

  3. converted try

Converted try - Bath 35-14 Munsterpublished at 40 mins

    Craig Casey (con: Hanrahan)

You didn't think that was the scoring finished for the half did you?

Munster scrum-half Craig Casey darts over in added time to get his side's second to ensure they aren't quite out of it after all.

That feels like an important score for the visitors.

  4. Sin-bin - Bill Matapublished at 28 mins

    Scarlets 3-12 Bristol

The TMO steps in to alert referee Gianluca Gnecchi to head contact.

Scarlets centre Johnny Williams carried the ball and Bears number eight Bill Mata catches his head with his shoulder.

It's deemed the number eight is trying to make a tackle but there is mitigation so it's yellow rather than red.

  5. converted try

    Converted try - Bath 35-7 Munsterpublished at 20:42 GMT 6 December 2025

    Ben Obano (con: Russell)

Route one and effective as Bath keep the pressure on the Munster line and Beno Obano drives over.

Finn Russell again adds the extras and Bath have a fifth try to stretch that lead out again and quell Munster's mini recovery.

  6. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Bath 28-7 Munster

A big up and under from Finn Russell causes havoc in the Munster backline.

Ben Spencer overhits his crossfield kick under penalty advantage.

Back we come for the scrum five metres out.

  7. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Bath 28-7 Munster

Or they would have done had Finn Russell not kicked it dead.

Let off for Munster and they have the scrum on halfway.

You can't take your eyes off this one.

  8. Penalty - Scarlets 3-12 Bristolpublished at 23 mins

    Sam Costelow

Scarlets point for the posts and fly-half Sam Costelow gets them up and running.

  9. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Bath 28-7 Munster

Bath escape as JJ Hanrahan kicks in behind but the ball runs away from danger.

Munster then give away a penalty on halfway - that is a big moment.

If the visitors had scored there they would be right back in it but now Bath can relieve the building pressure.

  10. Sin-bin - Will Stuart (Bath)published at 28 mins

    Bath 28-7 Munster

Munster captain Tadhg Beirne asks referee Jeremy Rozier if that latest Bath indiscretion is worth a yellow.

No he says - but the next one is.

Will Stuart is the man sent for 10 minutes on the sidelines.

Munster look full of confidence suddenly and are attacking the Bath line.

    Scarlets 0-12 Bristol

    Good response from Scarlets.

Tom Rogers almost breaks through but loses his footing. Scarlets keep the ball in the 22 and win a penalty.

The west Walians are 12 points down, will they opt to get on the scoreboard through the boot or chase a momentum-shifter in the corner?

We'll find out after some medical attention for Scarlets prop Archer Holz.

Sadly it looks quite serious. The Australian is given gas before being stretchered off. Fingers crossed for him.

    Bath 28-7 Munster

We're going at a rate of one try every five minutes at present.

It's been a rip roaring start, can the players keep this pace up?

Munster have conceded four tries but there's still so much of the contest still to play and they look to have settled now.

They're on the move again and have another penalty.

    Edwin Edogbo (con: Hanrahan)

Great heart being shown by Munster!

After being blitzed early on the visitors get through a few phases and start putting pressure on Bath for the first time.

A few penalties in the red zone prompts a warning from the referee but Munster go over with the next play and it's sheer power from second row Edwin Edogbo.

Try - Scarlets 0-12 Bristolpublished at 17 mins

    Bill Mata

    Fijian magic in Llanelli.

Bristol kick a penalty to the 22 and then hammer away with direct running. They work their way to within a few yard and earn penalty advantage.

The Bears keep playing and a sublime offload by wing Kalaveti Ravouvou puts number eight Mata over for his second.

That was an incredible assist after raw power from Bristol in the red zone.

    Worsley can't add the extras.

  15. converted try

    Converted try - Bath 28-0 Munsterpublished at 20:20 GMT 6 December 2025

    Tom Dunn (con: Russell)

    Bonus point after 18 minutes.

This is blistering stuff from Bath and Munster have absolutely no answer to it.

Club stalwart hooker Tom Dunn burrows over from close range and Finn Russell slots his third conversion.

Just incredible stuff from Johann van Graan's men.

    Bath 21-0 Munster

A little bit of team news which we planned to bring you before that flurry of tries is that Munster were forced into two changes before kick-off.

Both Jean Kleyn and Michael Milne dropped out of the starting 15.

Nothing going their way as it stands.

  17. No try - Scarlets 0-7 Bristolpublished at 12 mins

The kick passes do the damage for Scarlets.

Scarlets then get on the front foot thanks to a perfect kick-pass that is claimed by Ellis Mee down the left.

They are into the 22 and then another by Sam Costelow puts Tom Rogers over down the right.

Costelow adds the extras and it's level-pegging... but wait, the TMO comes in and footage reveals a knock-on right at the start of the move.

It's number eight Fletcher Anderson who is adjudged to have got his fingertips to it.

Let off for Bristol and frustration for Scarlets.

  18. converted try

    Converted try - Bath 21-0 Munsterpublished at 20:14 GMT 6 December 2025

    Henry Arundell (con: Russell)

    Wow.

Bath are scoring tries quicker than I can type.

Ironically for Munster this one comes after their best bit of attacking play but as they move forward the ball pops up out of a ruck and Cam Redpath kicks it towards the corner.

There are no Munster defenders to be seen as Henry Arundell strolls across to casually pick the ball up and walk over for one of the easiest scores of his career.

    Munster look shellshocked.

  19. converted try

    Converted try - Bath 14-0 Munsterpublished at 20:12 GMT 6 December 2025

    Miles Reid (con: Russell)

In keeping with the watery theme Bath are hitting Munster in waves and they move the ball so quickly along the line.

Tom de Glanville is stopped just short but the ball is recycled and Miles Reid goes over the whitewash for Bath's second try of the evening already.

    Scarlets 0-7 Bristol

Scarlets nilled Glasgow in the URC last weekend but they've already conceded one try and they are under serious pressure.

Bristol have started with real intent while the hosts need to settle.
