It was actually superb defence from Baloucoune, who managed to drag Vladi Ashvetia into touch moments before he grounded the ball.

    Rob Herring (con Murphy)

    Absolutely textbook.

Rob Herring collects the ball at the back of the maul, which was never going to be stopped once it got going and the hooker drops over the line.

Jack Murphy nails the conversion for good measure.

Ulster win the line-out but the maul doesn't really get going, and they look to work it through the hands.

The Racing defence is holding firm so far.

It's all very subdued here at the moment but Andy Farrell gets a bit of a cheer as he appears on the big screens.

For all the talk before this one regarding Racing's selection, they've looked dangerous with what ball they've had so far.

Their try was a score from nothing but they're piercing holes in the Ulster defence fairly consistently.

It feels like an important spell of the game leading up to half-time here.

  12. Missed penalty - Ulster 7-7 Racing 92published at 27 mins

    Antoine Gibert

I think everyone expected the flags to go up but Gibert sends his kick wide.

That's a let off for Ulster.

Racing win the penalty in the Ulster half after the hosts strayed offside.

Jude Postlethwaite is forced off after he picked up a bit of a knock while being tackled.

Stewart Moore, who is back from his very, very, very brief loan in Newcastle, is on in his place.

Racing turn the ball over and Sam James races through a gap before he's chopped down.

They look like they're going to cross but Zac Ward does really well to intercept the ball, and that starts some momentum that brings the hosts up to halfway.

    Brilliant stuff from Ward.

Ulster are seeing plenty of the ball but they can't escape their own half at the moment as Racing pin them back.

    Ulster 7-7 Racing 92

Ulster somehow survive as Racing look like they were going to pounce in the corner, but some scrambling defence saves the day.

The wet weather earlier hasn't stopped the spectators turning out in their numbers.

They definitely haven't left their voices at home either as they cheer on Ulster.

Rob Herring is back in the thick of the action after receiving a bit of treatment.

  20. try

Converted Try - Ulster 5-7 Racing 92published at 15 mins

    Jacob Stockdale (con Murphy)

It was good stuff from Ulster, who let the forwards do the damage to drag in the Racing pack, and it was spread wide by Nathan Doak to James Hume, who then popped the ball off for Jacob Stockdale to score.

    Jack Murphy adds the conversion.
