Unreal finish to the first half. In a carbon copy of the first try, Ulster strike down the left. Some silky hands from Jacob Stockdale once more sends that man Ward haring over for his second.
Ulster have certainly pepped-up since that try and now they win a scrum penalty. They kick to touch and have a lineout 15 metres from the Connacht line.

TMO check over, try awarded!
Out of nowhere Ulster hit back. The away side hit through the heart of the home side. Eventually the ball goes left and Jacob Stockdale spreads the ball wide to Ward who sprints home to get the visitors right back in it.
Connacht surge towards the Ulster posts with number eight Sean Jansen showing great strength and dexterity to offload in the tackle to Sam Gilbert, but the full-back knocks on and Ulster win a scrum.

(Try) Finn Treacy, (conv.) Sam Gilbert (24 mins)
It has been coming.
Connacht this time do not cough up possession and get the try.
They win a lineout on the right-hand side, before spinning the ball through the hands to the left. Gilbert sucks in a defender before winger Treacy darts inside the covering Ulster defence to race over the line.
First real chance for either side as Connacht go phase after phase to get within five metres of the Ulster line. However, visiting captain Nick Timoney forces a penalty with Connacht holding on in a ruck. Richie Murphy will be pleased to see that defensive steel from his side.
But Ulster can't find their man at the lineout and Dave Heffernan barges out of his own 22 with Ulster players hanging off him. Like a green raging bull there.
