Finally Leinster are into the lead and it will force Leicester to attack and be the aggressor.

Tigers prop Nicky Smith is adjudged to be in the wrong at scrum time giving Harry Byrne the opportunity to nudge the visitors in front which he gobbles up with glee.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

It's 10-0 to Leinster this half and they look the team in control at present.

How deflating for Leinster. Two penalties back-to-back, Leicester on a final warning, but they get held up on the first phase. That will give Leicester a big boost.

Leinster take a quick tap and Joe McCarthy looks to power over - only for Wales prop Nicky Smith to wedge himself under the ball to prevent the try.

Leinster very close to taking the lead.

The penalties are beginning to stack up for Leicester now.

Leinster, playing with the advantage, fling it wide but the pass out to James Lowe doesn't go to hand.

Back we go for the penalty.

A tackle off the ball gives Leinster a penalty that they kick into the corner.

It was for a Joe Heyes challenge on Josh van der Flier in the middle of the park.

Leinster win the line-out and are on the attack.

The momentum feels like it might be changing all of a sudden.

Leinster needed a lightning bolt moment and Gibson-Park was alive to the ball, brushed off three tackles and went over. It's brilliant work from him but Leicester will be kicking themselves.

That's a great, potentially try-saving tackle by Leicester's Ollie Hassell-Collins, as Tommy O'Brien thought he was through a gap.

O'Brien then knocks on to give Leicester possession back.

The Tigers defence has been snarling all night.

They're not giving Leinster an inch.

They can't as Leinster take possession and go on the offensive with Paddy McCarthy driving them up the pitch.

The Tigers pack - and crowd - enjoy winning a scrum penalty which Billy Searle kicks into the corner.

Can they make this opportunity count?

A penalty at the breakdown gives Leicester's Billy Searle a chance to extend their lead.

But he miscues the long-range kick and the gap remains at nine.

Well, the second half has not started any better for Leinster's James Lowe who sends an ugly-looking kick out on the full.

The wing is such a high-quality player as we all know, but he's not having his best match so far tonight.

We should be in for a belting 40 minutes here.

Leinster are full of internationals and British and Irish Lions but they seem a little bit all over the shop, their cohesion is off. They are trying to be too intricate. They need to be more direct and run more straight lines in the second half.

The Leinster back three are not in sync. Brilliant footballing skills from Hassell-Collins but Leinster are giving away so much space. It was too easy for Leicester.
