Dobie's struggling. It's been one of the worst halves I've seen Jamie Dobie play.

Glasgow look to hit straight back, winning a penalty and kicking for the corner.

It's shifted quickly from the line-out to Sione Tuipulotu but it didn't click and Duhan van der Merwe strips the ball back for Edinburgh.

Glasgow's conversion rate in the red-zone is 41% - the best in the URC - but that's two chances they've missed now.

Edinburgh have to keep the scoreboard ticking over when they get the chance. Their confidence is lower so they need to edge in front.

Those three points could make all the difference.

And in the 57th match between Edinburgh and Glasgow here in the capital, it's the hosts who have the lead.

We know him for his try-scoring exploits, but Duhan van der Merwe has just flattened Kyle Rowe and squashed Sebastian Cancelliere.

But this time, the maul goes down quickly and it's good Edinburgh defence. Zander Fagerson then tries to pick from the back of the ruck, but leaves the ball behind.

Edinburgh survive, and Glasgow show some rare profligacy.

D'Arcy Rae continues to drive after the scrum has collapsed and Jamie Bhatti reacts angrily. No wonder, it's dangerous play from the Edinburgh tighthead.

Plenty of pushing and shoving, and Edinburgh are marched back.

A big chance for Hamish Watson. He's become the forgotten man of Edinburgh and Scottish rugby.

He's got so much quality but this might be his first good run to remind Sean Everitt, and everyone, what he's capable of.

Jamie Ritchie is now down. He was clattered by three or four bodies while trying to make a tackle.

He'll come off for an HIA check, with Hamish Watson coming on. I'm unsure we'll see Ritchie again, that looked a nasty one.

The good thing is Edinburgh have kept the ball for a huge amount of phases.

Last week, they were kicking it away after three or four phases.

Ross Thompson sits deep and the pass he gives is often too deep and you end up losing the gain line. You're playing into Glasgow's hands.

Jamie Ritchie pierces a hole in the Glasgow defence. He looks left to Duhan van der Merwe but passes right to Ali Price, but Tom Jordan does enough to bring him down.

Great scramble defence from the Warriors, but encouraging for Edinburgh.

Edinburgh use a decent base from a throw to launch themselves into Glasgow's 22m for the first time, but it's a big hit from scrum-half Jamie Dobie that forces Edinburgh back.

Glasgow's intensity in defence is frightening.

A couple of wobbles from Edinburgh. Darcy Graham and Ben Muncaster are both slow to get up after heavy collisions.

Grant Gilchrist and Gregor Brown are down, too. Bodies everywhere.

Glasgow counter and there's room on the left. Kyle Steyn requires three men to bring him down and Jamie Dobie tries to slip Ally Miller through on the wing...

But the back-rower loses his footing and Edinburgh win a penalty from the breakdown. Close call.

It's Glasgow with the first attack of the match and unsurprisingly it's Huw Jones who carries the Warriors forward.

He makes 25 metres or so but Edinburgh regather. This will be another physical encounter, that's for sure.
