    Zebre 17-27 Dragons

Dragons have made front-row changes but once again, their scrum creaks and Zebre have a penalty.

But the line-out drive comes up short and then Giacomo Da Re's sloppy pass is knocked on.

Danger averted - but the visitors need to address the scrum situation pronto.

Paea beat two or three tackles there.

He held on to possession, he was nice and patient.

Just two phases later, Harrison Keddie, he's earned his call-up with two tries in this quarter-final fixture.

    Keddie try, O'Brien con

    Harrison Keddie again!

It is two replacements that set it up. Prop Wyn Jones bursts through a tackle and up to the 22, before Fetuli Paea makes a break for the line.

The Tongan is dragged down short but but from the pressure that follows, Keddie takes the aerial route over a ruck and manages to touch down.

Angus O'Brien again does the honours and now then, the Dragons are in control...

That looked ominous. Dragons have a scrum but are shunted off their own ball and Zebre get a penalty.

It's a kickable one but no, Giacomo Da Re goes for the corner. Another penalty, and another line-out chance soon follows - but the ball goes loose and Niall Armstrong can clear.

    Nervy moments.

This is a good start to the half for Dragons.

Territory in the right places, all in that Zebre half.

If you stay in possession for long enough with the ball in the right areas of the field, your outcome will be a penalty or a line break.

    O'Brien

Bautista Staville comes in from the side and puts hands on the ball right in front of referee Luke Pearce. Not the most subtle bit of flanker play that.

Inevitably he's penalised and from 20 metres out, Angus O'Brien again does the business with the boot.

    No pressure then...

However the second half pans out here, Dragons fans already have good news to reflect on this week.

On Thursday, it was announced prop Chris Coleman has signed a new contract to extend his stay with the Welsh region.

The 27-year-old, who made his Wales debut in July 2025 against Japan, has made 88 appearances for the Dragons, scoring four tries.

"Dragons is my home region. I genuinely love training and playing with some of my best mates, especially in front of a packed Rodney Parade," Coleman said.

Gwyn Jones has already summed it up aptly. The perception pre kick-off was that tonight represented a huge chance for Dragons to make the semi-final of a European competition - and that remains true.

Twice, they have been in the Zebre 22 and it has yielded 14 points. But ill-discipline hasn't allowed them to ever take control of this - and both home tries came moments after the visitors were shown a yellow card.

Opportunity still knocks for the Gwent men in Parma - but they will have to shore things up to take it.

Dragons' Angus O'Brien speaking to S4C:

"Going down to 13 is not ideal.

"We've shown that when we're in their half and in their 22, we come away with points. We just need to repeat more of that.

"We've allowed too many entries into our half, our 22, a bit of ill-discipline, we can clean that up, big time."

Filo Tiatia will be calling for his side's discipline to improve in the second half.

The game is there to be won for them, but they have to be cleaner in their general play.

    Bertaccini try, Da Re con

    Once again, Zebre strike back.

The score had to come after prop Muhammed Hasa is held up inches short, but from the next play centre Giulio Bertaccini dives over from barely a yard out.

Three times the Dragons have led. Three times they have soon found themselves all square again.

After a few skirmishes, Luke Pearce is issuing warnings to both captains.

It is a chance for the rest of us to draw breath but not for long, Zebre have an attacking line-out chance here.

  16. Sin-bin: Fine Inisipublished at 34 mins

Now, the Dragons are down to 13 as centre Fine Inisi is deemed guilty of a cynical offence at the breakdown.

They are shooting themselves in the foot with indiscipline here.

    Oh Thomas Young!

Rio Dyer makes a fantastic break from his own half and bursts towards the Zebre 22. He links with Young but the flanker looks for support before fluffing his pass straight into touch.

A chance gone. A big one.

Going for the corner pays off!

Brodie Coghlan finds his man and from a powerful forward shunt Harrison Keddie gets the try. Remember, he only came into the side this week due to an injury to Levi Douglas.
