Australia prop Angus Bell will make his first Ulster start in tonight's United Rugby Championship game against Leinster at Aviva Stadium.

Short-term signing Bell, who came off the bench in the Challenge Cup fixtures against Racing 92 and Cardiff, starts at loose-head with Ireland internationals Tom O'Toole and Tom Stewart completing the front row.

Centre Stuart McCloskey returns from the groin injury he sustained on Ireland duty last month. He is joined in midfield by Jude Postlethwaite, who missed last weekend's defeat by Cardiff because of concussion.

Ulster head coach Richie Murphy has recalled several players after rotating his squad for the Cardiff game, with Nick Timoney and Juarno Augustus returning to the back row.

Jacob Stockdale is restored at full-back, while Rob Baloucoune - who has scored five tries this season - returns to the right wing. The first-choice half-back pairing of Nathan Doak and Jack Murphy are also recalled.

Ethan McIlroy is set for his first appearance since January from the bench after recovering from a knee injury.

Ulster: Stockdale; Baloucoune, Postlethwaite, McCloskey, Kok; Murphy, Doak; Bell, Stewart, O'Toole, Sheridan, Irvine, McCann, Timoney (capt), Augustus.

Replacements: Andrew, Crean, Wilson, Hopes, B Ward, McKee, Flannery, McIlroy.

Leinster fought back from nine points behind at half-time to beat a determined Leicester Tigers side 23-15 in the Champions Cup pool stage.

An outstanding defensive effort and two wonderful finishes by wing duo Adam Radwan and Ollie Hassell-Collins put Tigers into a 15-6 lead.

The visitors, forced into a pre-match change because prop Tadhg Furlong was ruled out with illness, also lost flanker Jack Conan and full-back Jimmy O'Brien to injuries in the first 15 minutes.

But a star-studded Leinster team, which contained several Ireland internationals and had New Zealand centre Rieko Ioane making his first start, eventually overcame those setbacks and their first-half deficit.

They scored 17 points without reply in the second half as tries from Lions pair Jamison Gibson-Park and Dan Sheehan meant Leinster have two wins from two outings in the pool stage.

Leicester, meanwhile, have lost their first two matches in Pool Three and face a battle to qualify for the last 16.

Cardiff fly-half Callum Sheedy kicked a last-gasp winning penalty to defeat Ulster in a Challenge Cup thriller at the Arms Park.

Sheedy's nerveless effort completed a remarkable Cardiff comeback from 26-12 down and ensured Leigh Halfpenny's homecoming ended in a dramatic victory.

Cardiff had raced into a 12-0 lead through tries from lock George Nott and teenage wing Tom Bowen.

Ulster rallied with tries from captain Tom Stewart, centre James Hume and a double from wing Werner Kok to give the visitors a 14-point lead after 65 minutes.

Cardiff responded with tries from replacement prop Danny Southworth and flanker Dan Thomas, before Sheedy stepped up with the final kick of the game.

It's been some start to the URC season for Ulster compared to last season, and they are right in the mix at the sharp end.

It says a lot about Leinster that, by their standards, they've had a poor start to the season but are still sitting in sixth place, and could be fourth at the end of play today.
