McCloskey and O’Brien outstanding so far while Doris looks in the mood. May be proved wrong but feel Ireland can shade this
Ian, Northmberland
The atmosphere is shocking! I've been to livelier wakes...
Brian, Melbourne
Let’s just imagine what it would be like if this game was being played in Dublin. Feel sorry for the Irish fans missing out on the chance of a historic second half.
With Beirne replaced by Iain Henderson, James Ryan's HIA saw Baird move into the second row with Doris taking his place in the back row.
It'll be interesting to see how that plays out in the second half.
The Irish line-out has struggled throughout and it feels like whether Ryan returns or not will have a big impact on their chances of improving the set-piece.
A bit earlier than he might have anticipated, but it's good to see Caelan Doris back in action after he was forced to miss the Lions tour in the summer.
What did you make of that half?published at 21:09 GMT 1 November 2025

Yikes. I know this is about growing the game but I’ve experienced better party atmospheres on speed awareness courses. NFL lines all over the pitch, referee trying his best to wear out his whistle…second half can’t be much worse
Rob, Cambridge
This is a painfully tedious refereeing performance. Just let the game flow!

It's been really exciting and an entertaining half. Lot's of stop-starts at the beginning but some real good intent carries for both sides. The Ireland back row have been outstanding and there is nothing really between the sides.
The All Blacks will be disappointed they haven't put enough phases together.
Jack Crowley sends in a deep kick into the corner, Beauden Barrett catches the ball, runs into touch and then his arm goes up to call the mark when he's already out of play.
Brousset lets him away with it, but the Irish fans aren't best pleased with that call.
