As a long time Manchester United supporter I can warn fellow England rugby fans about coaches who set negative records, they are not just statistics, but a sign something is seriously wrong with an elite organisation.

England heading for the wooden spoon. With a resurgent Italy and an awesome France this is not a fanciful idea but a nailed on cert.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse for England - it does! Only thing we have to cheer about this Six Nations is beating Wales!

England captain Maro Itoje to ITV Sport: "I guess the first half we turned the ball over too much, when we did get in their half we weren't clinical. As players we have to own it. We have to take responsibility and make sure we're better.
"Ultimately we weren't accurate. We got into good positions. We didn't come away with points or score. We know it's not good enough. We'll be working harder to get it right.
"We need to look after the ball. We need to make sure our possessions are accurate. Ultimately we turned the ball over too much."

After the break, England face an in-form Italy team in two weeks time and then finish up their Six Nations at defending champions and currently unbeaten France.
In January Steve Borthwick said he wanted England fans "flooding across the channel" to watch that game and potentially see England win the title.
Right now, England look closer to the Wooden Spoon than first.

Ireland's Dan Sheehan to ITV Sport: "We're such a hungry group. We believe in ourselves a lot. We've been under the pump by the media a lot.
"That performance was right up there with one of the best we've ever had. We've stuck together, we've ignored that. When we all come together special things happen. To get this win at Twickenham is special."
On head coach Andy Farrell: "He just reminds us that if we get our systems right we have a plan to beat anyone. He gives us incredible belief. You look outside the group and there isn't too much belief. But he and the coaching group have made us believe and helped us put a performance in today."
"It's mad how many Irish fans there are in here. Early kick off, they'll have a good day out."

Utterly pathetic by England, in every respect. From 12 wins in a row, including against New Zealand, to abject performances against Scotland and Ireland.
Where is the coaching, the leadership, the character? It's not good enough, and we really must consider whether captain and coach should stay in their roles.

If Borthwick has any self respect he should walk away tonight

What happened to the England that was so dominant in the Autumn Internationals? Nothing has changed to the coaching or playing personnel

Possibly the most disappointing performance of all time for an England team, just shows how average Englands coaching is, Andy Farrell is streets ahead.
Matt Dawson Former England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live
There is no wonder Ireland are leaking one or two tries, they are giving it all they have got. More than they have got, they were written off before today.
