This line out is more successful for Ireland as Joe McCarthy plucks it out of the air.

Sam Prendergast is hammered in the tackle, but thankfully for him play is brought back for an earlier infringement and Ireland win the penalty.

Really impressive defensive set from Australia, with Angus Bell winning the penalty in the end.

Stuart McCloskey gets his sizeable paws on the ball to win the turnover for Ireland, who kick it downfield again.

Ireland are getting their hands on the ball but Australia get over it to win the penalty.

That was all rather flat from the visitors.

Jamison Gibson-Park is almost in as Ireland look to immediately respond but the hosts somehow manage to clean things up.

That's a great start from the Wallabies. It was great pressure. When they got the ball, they just kept it through the phases.

There was nothing that exciting about it - it was quick ball, good footwork, good hands and just really patient.

The Wallabies are motoring in the early stages here and have the penalty advantage.

They are now five metres out and have all the momentum.

Carter Gordon clears the ball once again and we've our first line out.

Dan Sheehan to throw, and it's lost as Angus Bell claims the loose ball.

Australia claim the kick off and hammer it downfield.

Sam Prendergast returns the favour, but it's too long and Carter Gordon can claim it for the mark.

It was pretty emotional when Angus Bell was leaving, as I got pretty close with him in the six months he was here.

There's no stopping for him and it'll be good to see how he goes today.

Lovely stuff all round.

It's going to be tricky, but I'm going to try and not compare this one to the New Zealand v France game earlier, which was an absolute barnstormer.

Let's see what the Wallabies and Ireland can produce. If it's even half as good then we're in for a treat.

As there is around most of the globe, there's a pretty strong Irish contingent in Sydney and they enjoyed that rendition of Ireland's Call.

The Nations Championship is a fantastic idea.

Sometimes at the end of a season, these summer tours can have not much of a meaning. This is a championship and something to play for and a trophy to chase. It's a great idea.

Here come the teams into the predicted lights show in Sydney.

There's also fire and bagpipes, which I didn't see coming.

It's all building the atmosphere nicely.
