Australia have responded well and are deep in the Irish 22 now....and they win a penalty.

And, of course, that try also secures the bonus point for Ireland.

Still getting my head around that for the summer Tests with the new Nations Championship.

So that's four tries each and I don't think we're done just yet.

    Safe travels, Nick!

When will Andy Farrell turn to his bench and who would you like to see brought on?

It's Hugo Keenan's first Ireland appearance in 16 months and he's scored a try and made two big interventions at the other end.

He does like playing in Australia, does Hugo.

You have to give Ireland so much credit. They're so patient and so good when they get the ball in hand.

Hugo Keenan's timing is absolutely beautiful and makes it really, really difficult for those Australian outside backs.

Converted Try - Australia 24-26 Irelandpublished at 47 mins

    Hugo Keenan (con Prendergast)

Hugo Keenan is over and Ireland strike first after the restart!

After the forwards chipped away at the line, Ireland finally work it wide and Garry Ringrose finds Keenan, who races through a gap.

Sam Prendergast converts and Ireland lead.

And Ireland then win another penalty for another line-out infringement.

They're going to tap and go again, which worked well in the first half.

Ireland win a penalty after Josh Canham was a bit too keen at a line-out.

Sam Prendergast sticks it around five metres out.

Stuart McCloskey enables full 'Irish Fridge mode' and makes about 30 metres with a big run into the Australian half, and it takes two players to bring him down.

I wonder if Jonny Sexton packed his boots, just asking...

    Andrew, Cardiff

Are these fellas not supposed to be pacing themselves with so many matches coming up in double quick time? There's been a fair bit of bonkers rugby but it's a great watch. Australia's lineout is far more stable than Ireland's.

Joe McCarthy catches Tate McDermott high, largely down to size difference than anything, and Australia win the penalty.

    No more than that.

Sam Prendergast brings play up to the edge of the Australian 22 with a great clearance.

The hosts will have the throw.

You have loads of guys to come on in the second half from the bench. Nick Timoney had a massive Six Nations and we all know what Bundee Aki can do.

The bench will make a serious impact.

There's a couple of collisions where Sam Prendergast has fronted up very well and I think there were a couple of instances in the first half where he was in the right position but just need a bit more pressure on the ball.

He's had to front up against Rob Valetini in such very big collisions and he's got right back up. He's been good.

Australia look dangerous. Joe Schmidt will be really happy at half-time with what he's seen, but he'll also be a bit frustrated with the Hugo Keenan tackle.

Clear forward pass for the Ireland try! Calls on forward passes always seem to be so inconsistent across games - surely this needs to be looked at across the board? As a neutral I find it frustrating when these decisions can influence the outcome of the game.

    Aran, London

Do you agree with Aran? Were Ireland fortunate to get away with one there?

We want this competition to be exciting and have lots of viewers. This is already a great advertisement for it.

I'm excited to see Ireland come out in the second half. They look a bit more comfortable and they might feel like they're together again.

It's a very good point from James.

It's almost like he knows what he is talking about!

Hugo Keenan made two try-saving tackles in that half to keep Ireland in it.

The game could have swung in a very bad direction. Hugo Keenan's tackle to stop that last try to go 31-12 up was absolutely crucial.

It'll be good to see how Ireland go in this second half with the scoreline a bit tighter.
