His try was the sort of clutch moment we've come to expect from him.

You try scoring as audacious a try as that when a history-making quadruple is on the line.

Typically, in his post-match media commitments, he looks absolutely unfazed. As if it's another day at the office and it's a routine win in April. Incredible.

Fantastic performance from the Wigan Warriors.

There wasn't much in the contest between both sides - the score line reflects that.

You knew it was going to be a close affair but the difference between the teams were Wigan's big game experience and probably that added bit of x-factor they have in their ranks.

Hull KR will rue some missed opportunities.

What a year it's been for Wigan - take a bow.

Remarkably, this is the first time that Wigan Warriors have won back-to-back Super League crowns.

But what a team head coach Matt Peet has put together. He has won seven trophies now in two years.

This Warriors line-up could be setting up a dynasty to match the side of the late 1980s and 1990s.

It is only fitting that the inaugural winner of the Rob Burrow Award is Bevan French.

The Wigan stand-off provided the real headline moment of this final with that twinkling feet try that would have been fitting of Burrow himself.

French really is a superstar of the modern game.

In all honesty, Hull KR aren't going to score twice.

The way Wigan have defended for the last five hours, however long, it's so difficult to score.

They are playing Rugby League at a very high level indeed.

Hull KR have to score here. They don't.

It's a handover and that may well be that.

The ball slipping out of their grasp = the Super League slipping out of their grasp.

Hull KR are giving it everything they've got.

They are coming up with plays and troubling Wigan but Wigan have the answers.

But they are asking questions.

Mikey Lewis launches a hail Mary kick on the last tackle, Ryan Hall catches it but has to throw it backwards to keep the move alive.

Wigan full-back Jai Field gratefully dives on it and the attack is over.

As ever, the Cherry-and-White defence have swept up a Hull KR attack.

Junior Nsemba is some athlete.

It's incredible to think that just over an hour ago the Wigan second row looked in trouble off the back of the James Batchelor tackle which forced him off for a head injury assessment.

But he's looked unnerved ever since returning to the field and he's giving Hull KR a lot to deal with.

Both teams are tired, you can see they're on their feet.

Wigan will try and keep Hull KR pinned.

You don't want to give Wigan any space because they will get you but you can see players are cramping up now.

Intensity of this game is creeping up and both teams are feeling it.

Hull KR lose the ball again in the wrong position - in their own half.

Wigan have all the aces and are less than 10 minutes away from the Quadruple.

Prop Kelepi Tanginoa loses the ball inside his own half and it's another pressure-reliever as far as Wigan are concerned.

Hull KR are struggling to build pressure and territory. Not a good recipe for success.

Jake Wardle goes for the corner again, but he is well held by the Robins defence and forced out of play.

The problem for Hull KR? They have the ball about 90 metres from the Wigan tryline.
