These are the first signs of Zverev's fight coming out. You thought earlier he might smash a racquet or scream just to get himself going but he didn't.

He's on the front foot now, getting Busta moving more and he's being more aggressive with the ball.

The 6ft 6in German breaks with... wait for it... a forehand winner. A wonderful shot, with a lot of dip, that kisses the line.

30-0 - it all now has a feel of an evenish contest. Maybe we'll see a tie-break??

Dear Santa, it's early I know, but can we have a more competitive contest?

PCB produces an awesome serve out wide to Zverev's very weak forehand.

    15-0.

He then comes up with a forehand winner as he opens his body up and slaps the ball onto the tramline.

An easy hold to love for Zverev. If he goes up a gear or two now, can PCB also turn it on too?

Gigi is right. It must be wonderful not having to over exert yourself and be two sets up against one of the best players in the world.

Carreno Busta is not playing the tennis of his life, he is just going about his business and doing what's required.

  16. 'Zverev's level has dropped off a cliff'published at 22:46 BST 11 September 2020

    Leon Smith
GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Carreno Busta has been terrific. He's been solid in every area but Zverev has dropped off a cliff in terms of his level and the stats are painful.

He's given points away, his intensity dropped, he tried harder at the end of the set but it was too late. What will we get in this next set? Will he come out and really fight and go for it?
