I’ve come down to Court 9, and there are lots of photographers and security guards around.

That’s because some VIPS (that’s very important players) are training on here shortly.

    Can you guess who?

That's better from Alison Van Uytvanck, dashing forward to meet a short ball and slapping it beyond Ashleigh Barty.

Van Uytvanck opts for a similar approach off the next point, but Barty lifts it over her onrushing opponent with perfection and suddenly has another break point.

She's such a fiesty girl and seeing her rise to the occasion is just wonderful.

Bernard Tomic's performance was absolutely disgraceful, I don't understand as a professional tennis player why you would show up and do that.

It makes no sense whatsoever. It's just disappointing.

  13. 'Tomic disrespectful'published at 11:14 BST 4 July 2019

    Leon Smith
GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Earlier, Bernard Tomic was fined his full Wimbledon prize money of £45,000 for not meeting the "required professional standard" during his 58-minute first-round defeat by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

It's a real sorry state of affairs for him, who as a young man was tipped to be one of greats of the game.

But it's just gone from bad to worse.

It's sorry to see, it's so disrespectful for everyone involved, and it doesn't surprise me that he's had his whole fee taken from him.
