    Liverpool flew out of the blocks and looked organised right from the off.

    A bright start from Liverpool as Emma Koivisto was able to put them in front after two minutes.

    But Chelsea eventually settled into their stride and Niamh Charles headed them level shortly before the break.

    This time Liverpool are more convincing with their defending as they head away the set piece.

    At the other end, Liverpool go close with Shanice van de Sanden's shot saved by Ann-Katrin Berger.

    The rebound falls to Natasha Dowie but she is unable to convert.
