A prolonged spell of treatment for Coleraine's Josh Carson, following a collision with Linfield's Chris Shields.

Thankfully for the Bannsiders, he is back in the engine room now.

Straight away at the other end, Eetu Vertainen drags a first-time snap-shot just wide of the target.

A goal for either side at this stage would take this already promising game to a new level.

The ball breaks to Matthew Shevlin on the edge of the Linfield penalty area but his snap-shot is turned behind by Chris Johns.

Coleraine's leading scorer has been quiet up to this point but there is no doubting his goal threat.
