I back Arsenal to win the title. Man City are stepping up a gear and really starting to apply the pressure but there is just something different about this Arsenal team.

There is steel about them now. I think they have all the ingredients to go and win a title and they tick all of the boxes.

He drags it on to his left and he is just too quick for Ward. It's a tighter angle for the strike. Plants it in that far corner past Whitworth who has got absolutely no chance, it's a brilliant goal.

A moment of magic from Martinelli and this ground is bouncing now. His 13th goal of a superb season.

Palace's stubborn resistance broken. They now have to make sure they don't allow the game to be taken away from them.

There's a little bit of frustration in the ground now. The home fans feel Michael Olise fouls Leandro Trossard but nothing is given. They are then even more angry when Trossard is penalised for a foul on Olise.

Palace have had one or two moments on the counter-attack where they have looked dangerous.

Another opening for Palace as Wilfried Zaha finds Odsonne Edouard on the right. His low ball into the box is straight to Ben White, though.

Arsenal continue to probe away in the Palace half but a foul by Leandro Trossard releases the pressure. Palace looking very disciplined.

Paddy McCarthy will be pretty pleased with how his side have handled the first 20-odd minutes here. They've been under pressure, but held firm. They've also looked a threat on a couple of occasions on the break.

After a bit of repair, Mitchell is up and ready to crack on.

Tyrick Mitchell is down for Palace. He is going to need treatment. He is holding his hamstring, which isn't a good sign.

The visitors have already lost Joachim Anderson to an injury in the warm-up.

Ben White is posing a threat down the right for Arsenal. He marauds forward and is fed in by Bukayo Saka but the low ball into the box that follows is behind any team-mates and cleared by Palace.

The ball breaks to Martin Odegaard on the edge of the area and he fires on target, but Joe Whitworth is equal to it.

Boos for the assistant, who puts his flag up for offside only after Odsonne Edouard has run clear and seen his shot saved by Aaron Ramsdale. Did the Palace forward know he was off or is his confidence just that low? Because he never looked like he was going to score.

I get the feeling it will be a long afternoon for Ward on that right hand side, Martinelli has got the beating of him pace wise.

He is going to need Olise and Milivojevic to double up and help him as much as possible.

Ben White goes on a mazy run to try and fashion something for Arsenal, but having reached the edge of the box he shows a bit too much of the ball to James Tomkins, who clears.

That is just a small glimpse of why Palace will still feel they can get out of the trouble they are in. They have some real attacking talent. Patrick Vieira had not been getting the best from them prior to his sacking.
