Guro Reiten curls it in towards Sam Kerr. She chests it down for Melanie Leupolz to hit first time from the edge of the box but it's blocked.

Victoria Williams brings Sam Kerr's cross down inside her own box and coolly lays it off to Fliss Gibbons.

She tries to go long but is hunted down by Erin Cuthbert. It takes a lucky deflection and bounces out for a goal kick.

Guro Reiten almost picks out Pernille Harder in the box but Danique Kerkdijk gets it away.

From the corner it's scrambled away at the back post before Kayleigh Green beats Sam Kerr to a header.

Melanie Leupolz robs the ball in midfield and lifts it straight through to Sam Kerr. She races away and tries to feed in Fran Kirby and Pernille Harder to her right but the pass is blocked.

She had space to shoot...

Victoria Williams and Megan Walsh were having a long chat after that second goal. It's a long way back for Brighton now.

It was a difficult header but Kerr still managed to find precision, guiding the ball into the back of the net. Kerr was so brave to stand tall between the two Brighton players.

It's almost telepathic between Kerr and Kirby. They always manage to pick each other out.

It looks like Fliss Gibbons is down receiving treatment after taking a knock in the build-up to that goal.

She's up and walking over to the touchline now though and should be fine to carry on.

Millie Bright gets in behind on the right and cuts it back for Sam Kerr. It's not dealt with by Megan Connolly but Victoria Williams reacts in time to get a block in.

Chelsea have had lots of opportunities to double their lead, but Brighton have managed to hold on.

If they can keep it at 1-0 they'll be confident of giving themselves a chance of finding a way back into this game.

The corner is floated in by Guro Reiten and Magda Eriksson tries to flick it into the far corner. It's not too far away...

Ann-Katrin Berger fumbles it slightly under pressure from Kayleigh Green after it's crossed in from the right.

She recovers quickly to gather it in and is wincing as she's hurt her hand in the process.

Kayleigh Green gets past Erin Cuthbert and finds Inessa Kaagman. She tries to move it out to the right but completely miscues the pass.

Both teams have been a little sloppy in possession.

It's a decent free-kick position for Brighton but Inessa Kaagman floats it straight into the keeper's hands.

Waste.

Fliss Gibbons launches it down the line for Kayleigh Green to chase. She gets there ahead of Millie Bright with her head and the defender gets a yellow for a high foot.

Almost another Kerr-by goal.

Sam Kerr chips it in for Fran Kirby from the byline but the England international nods it wide. She's angry with herself as that was a great chance to make it 2-0.

Guro Reiten looks full of confidence. She was so close to a second but Megan Walsh was alert.

Reiten just needed a bit more curve on it to try and get it into the corner. She looks really fired up and is linking well with Fran Kirby.

Fran Kirby and Guro Reiten have been causing all kinds of problems for Brighton. The pair link-up again before Reiten fires one straight at Megan Walsh.

What an effort!

It drops for Aileen Whelan in the box and she's unmarked. She absolutely thumps it on the half-volley and it's heading towards the far corner.

Magda Eriksson is on the line and heads it away, with keeper Ann-Katrin Berger beaten. Crucial defending.

This is a bright spell for Brighton as Megan Connolly beats Erin Cuthbert to the ball, before Guro Reiten gives away a free-kick near the touchline.
