  1. Hibs all at sea on north coastpublished at 20:04 GMT 6 November 2020

    Aberdeen 2-0 Hibernian

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

A brilliant finish by Sam Cosgrove to double Aberdeen's lead, but once again another critical mistake at the back by Hibs. The Dons' attacking players will have a field day if the visitors can't sort themselves out in defence.

  2. Hibs hand it to Donspublished at 20:03 GMT 6 November 2020

It is going to take something special for Hibs to come back from this. They were two good finishes, but the chances were handed to them

  3. GOAL! Aberdeen 2-0 Hibernianpublished at 20:00 GMT 6 November 2020

    Sam Cosgrove

A tremendous goal from Sam Cosgrove - his 44th for the club.

Again, Hibs press the self-destruct button. A dreadful ball out from the back is hit off the back of Scott Wright, allowing Cosgrove to race in on goal with a disjointed visiting defence at sea.

With the goalkeeper to beat, Cosgrove uses the outside of his foot to thwack the ball high beyond Ofir Marciano.

    What a start from Aberdeen.

  4. Postpublished at 19:59 GMT 6 November 2020

    Ross County 0-0 Livingston

A fairly frantic opening 15 minutes in Dingwall, but there's precious little quality so far. No shots on target.

  5. Postpublished at 19:59 GMT 6 November 2020

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

Cameron MacPherson has a promising chance for St Mirren from a free-kick, but it's a poor effort, hitting off the wall.

The ball comes back to the midfielder and he tries to run it into the box but soon hits traffic and United clear.

  6. Saints threaten earlypublished at 19:59 GMT 6 November 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

St Johnstone look the more threatening of the two sides in the opening minutes, with Kilmarnock barely able to get out of their own half.

They have limited the Saints to half-chances though – Craig Conway has two pops at goal from outside the box, but both go high or wide, while a wild David Wotherspoon volley in the box also sails harmlessly over goalkeeper Danny Rogers' bar.

  7. 'Look away now defending'published at 19:56 GMT 6 November 2020

    Aberdeen 1-0 Hibernian

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

That is a perfect start by Aberdeen, but that was some real look away now defending by Hibs, who all at sea at the back for that Dons opener.

  8. GOAL! Aberdeen 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 19:52 GMT 6 November 2020

    Scott Wright

What a start from the hosts.

It all came from slack play in their own half by Hibs, with Ryan Hedges in the thick of it. Lewis Ferguson's cute flick frees Scott Wright in the box and the forward's sweeping low shot across goalkeeper Ofir Marciano tucks into the far corner.

  11. Minute's silence...published at 19:46 GMT 6 November 2020

Here comes the minute's silence in Remembrance week.

    Not long to kick-off now.

  12. Holt wants to recapture old Livipublished at 19:44 GMT 6 November 2020

    Ross County v Livingston (19:45)

Livingston head coach Gary Holt is asking his players to get back to the formula that has brought them so much success in recent seasons after a slow start this time.

"Performance-wise, we've been good," he says. "But we've just been on the wrong side of some decisions and shot ourselves in the foot with some mistakes.

"We've lost a wee bit of our identity. I hear a lot of stuff from other managers on how they expect us to play and I think we've surprised a few by how well we've played football at times.

"But I think we're playing in the wrong areas and that's what's costing us. We want to get back to playing in the opposition's half and make it as uncomfortable as possible for Ross County."

  13. Tough game in store - Dyerpublished at 19:43 GMT 6 November 2020

    St Johnstone v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer tells BBC Sportsound: "I am pleased with the performances. The lads know that. It was against tough opposition [in the 1-0 losses to Hibernian and Rangers].

"We're ready to go again tonight. It's going to be a tough game, but these are the places where, if you want to do anything in the league, you have to come and try to get points.

"I'm happy with the squad, but I just wanted to bring [Greg] Kiltie in. He has done well this season and gives us that little bit of quality up front."

  14. Saints line-up 'fittest XI I have' - Goodwinpublished at 19:41 GMT 6 November 2020

St Mirren v Dundee United (19:45)

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland his starting line-up has been effectively been forced on him by Covid-19 infections.

"The boys have been really excited, really looking forward until tonight's game," he says. "They're all desperately looking forward to a massive game tonight. The pitch is looking great - there's not been a lot of football on it so they're no reason there shouldn't been.

"The team line-up is made up by a number of boys who haven't been affected by the virus. A number of boys in the squad have had worse symptoms than others. Som onlye trained 15 minutes, some trained half an hour. The line-up is the fittest 11 I have available to me."

  15. Tasty carrot for both teams at Pittodriepublished at 19:40 GMT 6 November 2020

    Aberdeen v Hibernian (19.45)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

This Pittodrie encounter gives Aberdeen and Hibs an opportunity to put the disappointment of missing out on a cup final place behind them.

Neither can afford to have any sort of Hampden hangover in the Granite City as they look to continue their impressive league form.

While Aberdeen and Hibs are looking to keep up the pressure on the two teams at the top – Celtic and Rangers - it seems likely they will be the ones battling it out for the title of "best of the rest" assuming the two halves of the Old Firm do eventually pull clear during the course of the campaign.

While a repeat of the Dons' 1-0 win at Easter Road earlier in the season would mean they would leapfrog Hibs into third, a win for the visitors would not only put a little bit of daylight between themselves and their hosts but would also see them jump up to second above Celtic.

  16. We have to get first goal - Davidsonpublished at 19:38 GMT 6 November 2020

    St Johnstone v Kilmarnock (19:45)

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Sportsound: "The performances are there, we just need to tweak it a little bit. Hopefully tonight we can get that first goal - which we haven't done enough.

"Ali [McCann] was given a rest last week. Craig Bryson came in and performed really well, which gave me a headache for competition.

"Kilmarnock played well in the second half against Rangers. They're really hard to break down, so it's going to be a tough game."

  17. Fans can 'boost' County - Kettlewellpublished at 19:37 GMT 6 November 2020

    Ross County v Livingston (19:45)

Ross County manager Stewart Kettlewell is pleased to see 300 fans back in the Global Energy Stadium.

"Obviously we'd like the place to be full, but it's the first step," he tells Sportsound.

"It's just for the area and for people to see their team. I think it does give a little bit of a boost for the players and they have to try to use that as motivation."

  18. Killie visit improving Saintspublished at 19:36 GMT 6 November 2020

    St Johnstone v Kilmarnock (19:45)

St Johnstone, unbeaten in four games, have not lost to Kilmarnock in three meetings and won their last match-up 2-1 in Ayrshire back in August.

But, despite arriving on the back two home defeats, sixth-top Kilmarnock remain three points and three places above their hosts.

  19. Two sides seeking upturn in front of fanspublished at 19:35 GMT 6 November 2020

    Ross County v Livingston (19:45)

Ross County sit in eighth place as they entertain a Livingston side just one point behind and with both experiencing a difficult run of form after a promising start to the season.

County have gone three games without a win, while Livingston, who won the reverse fixture 1-0 in August, have suffered three defeats in succession.

  20. Buddies return from Covid impassepublished at 19:33 GMT 6 November 2020

St Mirren v Dundee United (19:45)

St Mirren have had their season badly disrupted by postponements because of Covid-19 infections and need to self-isolate but are back in action again hoping to continue where they left off.

Two wins - both in the League Cup against lower league opposition - followed six consecutive defeats, but they remain second bottom of the Premiership, only goal difference keeping them ahead of Hamilton Academical.

United, unbeaten in five meetings with tonight's hosts, arrive on the back of four games without defeat and sitting in a promising fifth spot.
