Wales fans can just click that 'thumbs down' button now.

Northern Ireland have beaten Belarus 1-0.

If the results stay the same as they are now, Wales' qualification hopes are almost definitely out of their own hands.

I would think Wales might change their formation to give their attacking players more licence to go forward.

They can't be so deep now. They have to have people further forward.

  8. goal

GOAL - Wales 0-1 Norwaypublished at 61 mins

    Frida Maanum

    Wales' resistance is finally broken.

Kayleigh Green tries to break for Wales but is dispossessed by Frida Maanum.

She then strides forward and it looks like Elise Hughes could step in but the Wales defender seems to be eased out of the way by Norway striker Elise Thorsnes.

Maanum moves into the space on the edge of the Wales penalty area and fires powerfully into the corner.

That goal was a long time coming - and expertly taken.

    Wales 0-0 Norway

Decent chance for Norway right-back Ingrid Wold.

Rachel Rowe heads clear a cross from Julie Blakstad and it falls kindly for Wold.

But the Everton player fires a wild first-time effort wide and over.

    Wales 0-0 Norway

Norwegian keeper Cecilie Fiskerstrand has spent most of this game very high up the field.

With her team almost exclusively in possession and in the opposition half, that's fair enough.

Wales' players think there's a chance of catching Fiskerstrand off her line so a few of them have tried shooting from the halfway line.

None of those efforts have come close yet but it might be worth pursuing if they can really connect with one.

    Wales 0-0 Norway

Wales captain Sophie Ingle is having a big game at the heart of her team's defence, heading and clearing everything that comes her way.

The Chelsea player is an excellent passer of the ball too but she hasn't been given the opportunity to demonstrate her range today with Wales under so much pressure.

    Wales 0-0 Norway

Norway carry on where they left off in the first half, bossing possession and territory.

Karina Saevik wriggles her way into the Welsh penalty area and has a low shot blocked by Laura O'Sullivan.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Wales 0-0 Norway

Wales get the second half started - twice.

Sophie Ingle tries a shot first time, then the referee orders a retake and the Wales captain boots the ball into touch deep in the Norwegian half.

  15. 'Ludlow will be pleased so far'published at 17:27 GMT 27 October 2020

    HT: Wales 0-0 Norway

    Nia Jones
    Former Wales international

Norway have had lots of the ball but except for the early Thorsnes header they haven't had clear-cut chances, just long-range efforts and crosses.

I think Jayne Ludlow will be pleased with the first half, it's a question of whether they can maintain that for another 45 minutes.

Wales are halfway towards a seismic result.

It appears being defensively resolute and organised.... makes you very hard to breach.

A point will be massive for Wales.

  20. HALF-TIME - Wales 0-0 Norwaypublished at 17:16 GMT 27 October 2020

Wales will be delighted with that scoreline.

Jayne Ludlow's side set out to frustrate their opponents and they've done just that so far.
