But as it stands we are still only two managers down.

    Javi Gracia and Mauricio Pochettino.

And unless we get a flurry of sackings this week we're some way off several previous Premier League seasons, where six managers have got the bullet by the end of November.

I'll be honest Norwich City v Arsenal (Sunday, 14:00 GMT) and Everton's trip to Leicester later that day (16:30 GMT) don't look great either do they.

While West Ham's trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Saturday (15:00 GMT), looks erm, horrible for Manuel Pellegrini.

Good point regarding Saturday evening's game between Southampton and Watford.

    Talk about a six-pointer.

Glyn: If ever there was a time that we, West Ham United, needed someone who understands the club and to inject some passion & fight it is now. Paolo Di Canio anyone?

Anon: Manuel Pellegrini has no plan B and plan A looks like it came out of the Avram Grant book of management skills. Bring in Rafael Benitez or even Mauricio Pochettino

JW: You might want to add the loser of Saturday evenings Southampton vs Watford game to your managers at risk list.

Is Jose Mourinho a new man? There were lots of warm embraces towards his players after Tottenham's win over West Ham on Saturday.

Has he got a bit more time for the personal touch these days? Certainly, he at least doesn't have to worry about hotfooting it to get the train back to London, like he did when he was the Manchester United boss.

Tottenham captain Harry Kane reckons new manager Jose Mourinho can end the club's 11-year wait for a trophy.

Mourinho succeeded the sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday and won at West Ham on Saturday in his first game.

The Portuguese has won 20 major trophies, but Tottenham are without one since securing the League Cup in 2008.

"The gaffer's won at every club he's gone to - there's no hiding away from that," said Kane, who went to see Pochettino at home after his sacking.

Talking of West Ham their last league win was on 22 September against Manchester United.

I'm sure there was chat of them pushing for the top four at the time...

    Just look at them now.

One manager back in business at the weekend (possibly at the expense of another) was Jose Mourinho, who started life as Tottenham manager with a 3-2 London derby triumph over West Ham at London Stadium.

First-half goals from Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura and a third from Harry Kane four minutes after the break gave Tottenham their first Premier League away win since 20 January.

It all looked pretty serene as well, unless you're West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, whose side have now collected two points from their last seven games.

One Premier League boss who will not be under pressure at the minute is Chris Wilder.

Must admit I like his no-nonsense and straight talking approach. And his Sheffield United teams have played great football for quite a while.

Anyway, on that note, my colleague Neil Johnson has been looking at how the Blades have confounded predictions and are enjoying life back in the Premier League.

This is well worth a read.

Three players aged 22 or younger, Marcus Rashford, Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood, all scored for Manchester United on Sunday.

The first time that's happened since April 1996 when Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes & David Beckham.

    Not a bad trio.

    Sheffield Utd 3-3 Man Utd

Manchester United's young players "learned a valuable lesson" after coming from 2-0 down at Sheffield United to draw 3-3, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said.

The visitors were lacklustre for much of the game until they scored three goals in seven second-half minutes before Oli McBurnie's late equaliser.

"This team don't give in - such a difference from last year," he said.

"It shows the quality that we can score three in a game when we don't perform."

    In fairness to Alan.

It's hardly been a barrel of laughs for Manchester United supporters this season.

At times the football has been dismal and two wins from the last eight Premier League matches leaves the club ninth in the table nine points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Rafael Benitez recently mentioned he'd quite fancy a return to the Premier league, while the usual suspects like David Moyes and Mark Hughes have also been mentioned as solutions for certain clubs.

The names of Massimiliano Allegri and Laurent Blanc have a continental feel to them and then of course there's everyone's favourite firefighter, Sam Allardyce...

Oh and Mauricio Pochettino, who has just been sacked by Tottenham, could well be persuaded away from taking a holiday couldn't he?

But which manager would you choose to take over your club next and why?

  20. Keeper crisis at West Hampublished at 07:45 GMT 25 November 2019

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

I was at the London Stadium on Saturday to watch West Ham lose to Jose Mourinho's Tottenham.

The most shocking thing for the Hammers was the total disdain their fans have for the players.

Goalkeeper Roberto was subjected to ironic cheers when he picked the ball up. Confidence in him is zero. The decision to introduce Carlos Sanchez in the second-half was booed.

Many fans think Manuel Pellegrini should be sacked but the indications I am getting is that West Ham intend to stick with the Chilean - for now at any rate - but it will be interesting to see whether third choice keeper David Martin - Lucasz Fabianski is out until January - is picked for the trip to Chelsea on Saturday.
