  2. 'Barca are capable of beating any team'published at 20:19 GMT 30 January 2019

Barcelona v Sevilla (20:30 GMT, 0-2 on aggregate)

Barcelona fielded a much-changed side in the first leg, without Lionel Messi and with Luis Suarez only on the bench, but Sevilla boss Pablo Machin said he was not worrying too much about who might start.

"We are preparing for the game without thinking too much in how it will vary if someone does or does not play," he said.

"Messi brings the attack together, almost every play goes through him and we have to be prepared for when his killer pass arrives. But they are a very competitive team and they are capable of beating any team.

"Even with Messi injured they won many games, and then they had the historic result against Real Madrid. "We are playing against the champion of the last four cups, and the leaders and current champions of La Liga."

  3. 'We have to score'published at 20:16 GMT 30 January 2019

Barcelona v Sevilla (20:30 GMT, 0-2 on aggregate)

Sevilla coach Pablo Machin warned there was plenty still left for his side to do, despite holding a two-goal advantage over Barcelona in their Copa Del Rey quarter-final.

"We had a good result, but there is still 90 minutes to go and Barcelona are capable of scoring two goals against us," he said.

"The possibility of extra time is there and I hope we don't go through that given the extra energy it would take. To avoid that we have to score.

"The tie is open. Ninety minutes at the Nou Camp will be very long. Anything can happen."

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 24 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Juventus

So close to an Atalanta goal. Papu Gomez lets fly from 20 yards and it bounces just in front of a full-stretch Wojciech Szczesny who does excellently to get a hand to it and push it wide. Great reflexes from the ex-Arsenal man.

Back in Italy, we're still goalless with Atalanta goalkeeper Etrit Berisha doing well to punch clear an inswinging free-kick.

  6. Fans' support is fundamental - Valverdepublished at 20:10 GMT 30 January 2019

Barcelona v Sevilla (20:30 GMT, 0-2 on aggregate)

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has called on the club's fans to help the team overturn their 2-0 deficit to Sevilla in the second leg of their Copa Del Rey quarter-final.

"We have to give everything," said Valverde. "We are a team that, at certain times, always take a step forward and we must on Wednesday.

"We know in those ties where you are behind, the fans support is fundamental, but the team is the one that engages the supporters and it's a challenge for everyone."

  7. What happened in the first leg?published at 20:08 GMT 30 January 2019

Barcelona v Sevilla (20:30 GMT, 0-2 on aggregate)

Barcelona's four-year dominance of the Copa del Rey is in jeopardy after a 2-0 defeat by Sevilla in the quarter-final first leg.

Pablo Sarabia blasted home Quincy Promes' cross to put the hosts ahead and Wissam Ben Yedder slid in at the back post following Ever Banega's deflected shot to double their lead.

Barcelona rested Lionel Messi and gave a debut to new loan signing Kevin-Prince Boateng, but he was replaced by Luis Suarez in the second half.

The Catalans have won the past four Spanish Cups, beating Sevilla in two of those finals - 2-0 in 2016 and 5-0 in 2018. The last time they failed to reach the final was 2012-13.

    Atalanta 0-0 Juventus

Ronaldo bursts through on goal and that normally means 1-0. But home goalkeeper Etrit Berisha is quick off his line to deny him, although the official's flag then went up so it wouldn't have counted anyway.

  11. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Juventus

Juventus, surprisingly, hanging on a bit. A lovely through ball is heading to the danger man Duvan Zapata but a desperate saving tackle from Giorgio Chiellini, with Juventus then heading wide from the resulting corner. A bright start from an Atalanta side that have scored 18 goals in their past five games.

  12. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Juventus

An early chance for the hosts as a Juventus pass, aimed for Blaise Matuidi, does not find the target and it falls to Atalanta's Marten de Roon, but he drags a low shot from the edge of the penalty area wide of the post. An early let-off for Juve.

  15. Fiorentina crush Romapublished at 19:48 GMT 30 January 2019

    Fiorentina 7-1 Roma

    Earlier this evening...

Federico Chiesa scored a hat-trick as Fiorentina humiliated Roma 7-1 to reach the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

Chiesa, the 21-year-old Italy forward, sliced Roma open at will, hitting the post early on and striking twice in the first 18 minutes.

Aleksandar Kolarov pulled one back for the visitors but Luis Muriel restored Fiorentina's two-goal lead before the break. Eusebio Di Francesco's Roma completely collapsed in the second half with Chiesa completing his hat-trick, Giovanni Simeone scoring twice and Marco Benassi also finding the net.

Substitute Edin Dzeko was sent off for the visitors after arguing with the referee to complete a woeful night for the visitors. Stefano Pioli's Fiorentina will face holders Juventus or Atalanta in a two-legged semi-final.

  16. Piatek double takes Milan into Coppa Italia semi-finalspublished at 19:44 GMT 30 January 2019

    AC Milan 2-0 Napoli (Tuesday)

Krzysztof Piatek scored twice on his first start as AC Milan beat Napoli 2-0 to reach the Coppa Italia semi-finals, where they will play either city rivals Inter or Lazio.

Piatek, who joined from Genoa for £30m last week, calmly stroked home the opener on 10 minutes. The Poland international then curled home his second from just inside the area to make it 2-0 before half-time.

It was an impressive start to his Milan career for Piatek, who was brought in after top scorer Gonzalo Higuain left to join Chelsea on loan from parent club Juventus.

It didn't take long for Piatek to make an impact, the striker running on to Lucas Paqueta's long pass before calmly stroking the ball past Alex Meret to put Milan in front. His second goal was even better, Piatek collecting the ball on the left of the area before shimmying away from two defenders and powering the ball into the corner.

Inter Milan take on Lazio at the San Siro on Thursday.

Juventus are without defender Leonardo Bonucci, who sprained his ankle at the weekend, but Sami Khedira returns into the midfield after missing his side's past two matches.

Miralem Pjanic is among the substitutes, alongside ex-Liverpool man Emre Can, while Mario Mandzukic has recently returned to training but this game comes too soon for him and he misses out. Cristiano Ronaldo starts, obviously.

Juventus: Szczesny, Alex Sandro, Chiellini, Rugani, De Sciglio, Matuidi, Betancur, Khedira, Bernardeschi, Ronaldo, Dybala.

Substitutes: Perin, Pinsoglio, Caceres, Cancelo, Spinazzola, Pjanic, Emre Can, Douglas Costa, Kean
