    Coleraine 2-2 Ballymena Utd

Stephen O'Donnell heads Coleraine level. The Bannsiders skipper, who has made a couple of bad errors in the game, redeems himself by meeting Darren McCauley's corner and heading off the underside of the crossbar and in.

United will rue all those missed chances unless they manage to go in front for a third time in the remaining 10 minutes.

Jamie McGonigle jinks in and out before his curling strike skims the Ballymena crossbar, highlighting the threat Coleraine possess despite being a man down.

A minute later and United's Tony Kane tries to repeat his first-half screamer but this time lifts his long-range shot just over.

  6. goal

    GOALpublished at 21:14 BST 25 September 2018

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

Andrew Mitchell gives Glenavon daylight, brilliant goal.

A rare moment of real quality tonight in Bangor and it's a typical Mitchell goal. He starts with his back to goal, gets the better of his man and turns onto his left foot before hammering an effort into the top left corner.

His third of the season, Glenavon heading to the top it would appear.

  7. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:08 BST 25 September 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Ballymena Utd

United forward Adam Lecky goes down in the box but play is waved on. Ballymena boss David Jeffrey is not a happy man - he thinks it's a penalty and is quick to let the fourth official know.

    Quote Message

Ballymena deserve their lead - they have been bright, sharp and energetic. Adam Lecky has been selfless up front for the visitors and has put in some shift. Ballymena look the more likely to score the next goal.

  10. Alex makes a smart savepublished at 21:01 BST 25 September 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 2-0 Crusaders

Home keeper Alex Moore shows great reflexes to dive and tip a Paul Heatley shot round the post.

  11. Coleraine home run under threatpublished at 20:57 BST 25 September 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Ballymena Utd

A quiet start to the second half with Coleraine on course to relinquish a proud record of 27 home games without defeat in domestic competition.

Rodney McAree's side still have plenty of time to at least salvage a draw against their derby rivals.

  12. Visitors looking for breathing spacepublished at 20:57 BST 25 September 2018

    Ards 0-1 Glenavon

One goal leads are never comfortable and Glenavon know they can't sit back and invite Ards to attack. Andrew Mithcell latches on to a cross but can't direct his volley goalwards. Moments later Mark Sykes finds space outside the box but blazes his shot wide right.

The opportunities are coming for Glenavon but it remains a one goal game.

  13. goal

    GOALpublished at 20:54 BST 25 September 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 2-0 Crusaders

Daniel Hughes doubles the Swifts' lead with a penalty.

The penalty decision looked harsh - it was a handball against Billy Joe Burns but he didn't seem to know much about it.

Hughes didn't seem to mind as he side-footed into the bottom corner.

  14. Glenavon out of the traps quicklypublished at 20:50 BST 25 September 2018

    Ards 0-1 Glenavon

Back underway and it's the Lurgan Blues who come out quicker in the second half. Mark Sykes is played through on the inside left channel and slams a shot into the side-netting when looking to cut the ball across goal was perhaps the better option.

  15. Second half underwaypublished at 20:47 BST 25 September 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 1-0 Crusaders

Right, what have you got Crusaders?

One change for the visitors - Billy Joe Burns is on for Philip Lowry.

  17. McAree would be happy with a point - Gormanpublished at 20:43 BST 25 September 2018

    Coleraine 1-2 Ballymena Utd

    Quote Message

It was a fantastic first half. There's no doubt about the red card and it put unnecessary pressure on Coleraine while McMurray's miss is one of the worst I've seen. The way it's going Rodney McAree would gladly take a point from the game.

Three great goals and a red card in an action-packed first half at Ballycastle Road. United have the goal and man advantage so it's a big job now for Rodney McAree in his first derby as Bannsiders boss.
