  • Serie A leaders Inter are unbeaten all season

  • Juventus can go top with a victory

  • Injured Buffon misses out for champions

  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 28 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus defender Medhi Benatia is the first player in the book as he slides right through Mauro Icardi from behind. The home fans whistle - but there's no way that couldn't have been a yellow.

  2. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Ooh. Marcelo Brozovic plays a ball forward, which is overhit past his team-mate and Juventus keeper Wojciech Szczesny has to palm it down to make sure he doesn't carry it past the line.

Definitely wasn't trying to score there.

  3. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus maestro Miralem Pjanic shoots from, I don't know, a million yards out - OK maybe 35 - but it's right at Borja Valero.

  4. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus full-back Mattia de Sciglio charges down the right but his cross is straight into the hands of Inter keeper Samir Handanovic.

  5. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Inter have had 60% of the ball but Juventus have had all three shots - two on target.

  6. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Miralem Pjanic, usually a wizard with free-kicks, steps up to take the free-kick but curls miles wide.

Juan Cuadrado is back on the pitch now.

  7. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juan Cuadrado skips by Borja Valero, the former West Bromwich Albion midfielder, and he's chopped down. Free-kick.

The ex-Chelsea winger is getting treatment.

John McEnerney: Agreed, Juve will win Serie A. They are the only club with really world-class players right throughout the squad and are big game players. Also the know-how to close out games and European experience too in the last few years. Win for the Old Lady unless Inter are on top form

  9. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus have the first big chance(s) of the game. Mario Mandzukic gets on the edge of Juan Cuadrado's cross but shoots straight at Samir Handanovic. The ball comes back to MM but his header is cleared off the line by Miranda.

  10. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Inter are just starting to dominate possession now but we're still waiting for any kind of chance at either end.

  11. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Sami Khedira and Borja Valero run into each other and Juventus midfielder Khedira came off worse. Also got a ball into his face. He's OK to continue though.

  12. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Some nice football on show from both sides early on but defences/midfield on top so far.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Can Juventus make it back-to-back wins over Napoli and Inter Milan?

Or can Inter keep their unbeaten run going?

We are under way at the Allianz Stadium (didn't know they'd gone with a sponsor name until 10 seconds ago).

Inter Milan haven't won the league since the 2009-10 treble-winning season under Jose Mourinho.

Since then it's been second, sixth, ninth, fifth, eighth, fourth and seventh.

But things have changed at the San Siro since Luciano Spalletti took over in the summer, perhaps benefitting from the lack of midweek European football.

They have won 12 and drawn three of their opening 15 games going into the 'Derby d'Italia' as Juventus v Inter Milan is known.

  15. Team news - no Buffonpublished at 19:37 GMT 9 December 2017

Gianluigi Buffon is missing for Juventus with a calf injury, as Wojciech Szczesny starts again. The champions make four changes from the 2-0 win at Olympiakos. Giorgio Chiellini, Kwadwo Asamoah, Mario Mandzukic and Miralem Pjanic start.

Inter Milan make two changes from last weekend's 5-0 win over Chievo. Miranda and Matias Vecino replace Andrea Ranocchia and Joao Mario.

Juventus: Szczesny, De Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, Asamoah, Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi, Cuadrado, Higuain, Mandzukic.

Inter Milan: Handanovic, D'Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Santon, Vecino, Valero, Candreva, Brozovic, Perisic, Icardi.

Which of these sides, or Napoli, do you think will win Serie A? Or do you fancy either of the Roman clubs to do it?

For what it's worth, I reckon Juventus will win the league if they win today.

  17. Champions v unbeaten leaders (again)published at 19:19 GMT 9 December 2017

Juventus - champions for the last six years - come up against the unbeaten league leaders in one of the most anticipated Serie A matches of the season.

Does that sound familiar? It should because this is the second weekend in a row that it's happened.

Last weekend, Juve beat Napoli 1-0 to end their unbeaten run. Inter Milan took advantage to go top of the table - and now they face Juventus.

The only difference is Juve will go top of the league themselves if they win tonight.
