    Cooper executed a fine finish after a good run into the box.

    Warrenpoint keeper Jonathan Parr is tested for the first time as he dives low to keep out Daniel Kelly's shot. A little bit of comedy at the other end with the ball moving in the stiff wind as Elliott Morris tries to take a goal-kick. After a few failed attempts the frustrated keeper gives up and digs a wee hole rugby style to get her nice and steady before dispatching it upfield.

    Jude Winchester gives Cliftonville the lead in the 11th minute with a left-foot tap-in from inside the six-yard box.

    Winchester's corner was not cleared, Jay Donnelly laid the ball off to Tomas Cosgrove, whose fizzing cross evaded everyone. Winchester then popped up at the back post to find the net.

    Warrenpoint Town could put some clear blue water between themselves and the bottom two if they were to win at Glentoran tonight.

    Ards' position in the standings has been boosted by an unbeaten run comprising two wins and two draws from their last four games.

    Glentoran are back in the bottom six after a 0-0 draw with Dungannon on Saturday.

    Glenavon are clinging onto the coat-tails of the top two, while Ballymena have creeped back into the top six.

    Cliftonville and Linfield look to be out of the race for the Gibson Cup after a disappointing series of results over the festive period.

    The two Premiership clashes between Ards and Glenavon this season have not been memorable occasions for Ards defender Johnny Taylor.

    The big centre-back scored an own goal as the Lurgan Blues emerged 3-0 victors at Mourneview Park, Mark Sykes grabbing the other two goals.

    Taylor was then sent-off as Gary Hamilton's charges emerged 2-0 victors at the Bangor Fuels Arena, Sykes again on target, along with Adam Foley.

    Meanwhile Glentoran are defending a 100% record against Warrenpoint Town so far this campaign, having triumphed 2-0 at the Oval and then 3-2 at Milltown.

    Cliftonville v Ballymena Utd

    Both previous league meetings between the sides this season have ended in 1-0 wins in favour of the home team.

    In September, an Emmett Friars goal gave Ballymena a narrow victory over Cliftonville at the Showgrounds, while in November Stephen Garrett popped up with the decisive strike which ensured three points for the Reds at Solitude.

    Barry Gray's men failed to pick up a point from difficult away fixtures against Linfield and Crusaders over the festive period, but they did manage a point from their encounter with Coleraine on Saturday.

    The Sky Blues have suffered just one defeat from their last six outings.
