Birmingham make a double change. Maikel Kieftenbeld and David Davis are replaced by Greg Stewart and 20-year-old Dudley-boy Reece Brown.

Sheffield Wednesday are slowly putting the pressure on Birmingham. Seven of the eight goals they have scored have been in the second half this season.

Carlos Carvalhal is probably the happier of the two managers at the moment.

And now we have our second booking. Owls skipper Glenn Loovens clatters into Clayton Donaldson and the referee has no hesitation in brandishing a card.

While I was marvelling at Stephen Gleeson's wizadry a few moments ago, I failed to mention the midfielder was booked shortly after for a challenge on Almen Abdi.

Moments later Jacques Maghoma pings a shot straight at Wednesday goalkeeper Kieren Westwood.
