Almost an identical situation to when Jamie Vardy was sent off for Leicester against West Ham! Vardy in on goal, he drives across the last man, feels contact and goes down. Penalty given!

A heavy challenge from Dele Alli, he got the ball but then catches Cenk Tosun on his follow-through. Alli is from the Paul Scholes school of tackling...

I think England have actually got worse since they went to 4-4-2. Raheem Sterling does manage to put a cross in but Dele Alli can't muster anything from it.

How has that stayed out?! So nearly a lead for Turkey as once again they get free at a corner and Hakan Balta glides a header narrowly wide. Joe Hart had no chance if that was on target.

England have lost that early zip as Raheem Sterling resorts to hit and hope mode, but he can't find Harry Kane. Jamie Vardy will enjoy being put up front though. 

Danny Rose is caught late after stretching into a tackle but it's Jack Wilshere who is booked when the move breaks down. Not sure why. The game has gone a bit flat.

The jury is out on Harry Kane taking all of England's free-kicks but that is a belter, brilliant ball whipped in and John Stones meets it well, his header deflects across goal and wide though. England are going 4-4-2 diamond now.

"That's a really smart turn from Tosun and Joe Hart was beaten. Turkey are starting to grow in confidence. They look the better side."

England guilty of standing off Cent Tosun on the edge of the area and he spins away from John Stones to slam a left-footed shot a yard wide of the corner! Not sure Joe Hart would have reached that...

A chance for Turkey now as Cenk Tosun escapes his a marker at the near post but can only flick a header wide. Moments earlier Harry Kane was one-on-one but he was caught out by the well-policed Turkish offside trap. 

Ron Smith: Why is Vardy on the left wing? Is this the position he played for Leicester? No, so why not play to his strengths?

David Nicholas: Vardy wasted on the wing. Need to try Kane and Vardy two up top, sacrifice Sterling for Rooney in midfield.

Adam, Darlington: I can't believe I'm going to say this: do we miss Rooney? 

Good football from England as Kyle Walker plays a one-two with Dele Alli to break into the area but his run is a touch premature and he's offside.
