Drama as Gareth McKeown is shown a straight red card just before a Glenavon corner can be taken. Referee Raymond Crangle had spoken to McKeown and United goalkeeper Aaron Shanahan seconds earlier. Seems McKeown did not listen to the warning and was guilty of an elbowing offence - and the Lurgan side are down to 10 men.
Ballymena United's experienced defender Jim Erwin limps off. The former Linfield player's cup final is over and Gavin Taggart comes on as the Sky Blues substitute.

Here is a nice piece of pre-match trivia. The last time player-manager Gary Hamilton led Glenavon out for a cup final here he was the team mascot. It was the 1988 final and Hamilton's heroes lost 1-0 to Glentoran at Windsor, Glens legend Jim Cleary scoring with a late penalty.

With the Irish League's showpiece game featuring two 'country' teams who haven't been in a final for quite a while, the south Belfast venue should witness a colourful occasion. The game is live on BBC2 Northern Ireland, Radio Ulster and the BBC Sport website.
This is the last match at Windsor before Northern Ireland's international stadium is redeveloped. Two new stands will be built and the ground will have a capacity of 18,000.
