    Women's 4x100m freestyle relay final

Australia are the hot favourites coming into the women's 4x100m freestyle relay final after recording the fastest qualifying time of 3:37.95.

Two members of the team, Shayna Jack and Mollie O'Callaghan, helped Australia win gold in this event four years ago.

Meg Harris joined them at the 2024 Olympics to win gold with an Olympic record.

Emma McKeon has retired since then, so has been replaced by Alex Perkins.

England will be expecting a podium finish after clocking the second best qualifying time, while Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, South Africa and Cayman Islands are all in the mix.

Scotland's Duncan Scott after winning gold in the men's 200m individual medley: "I just wanted to try and take it out, a really good backstroke split in there and good learning.

"So I guess from the swimming side, that was the focus, but also from a more emotional standpoint and from the team, it was like, try and get the momentum going and a bit of a weight on the shoulders for that.

"But I’m glad and (it’s) more of a relief rather than anything else. So, yeah, it’s one that I’ll probably savour and really think about once the meet’s over.”
