    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:30 BST)

Fermanagh manager Declan Bonner has named a largely settled side for today's Ulster SFC quarter-final at Brewster Park.

Jonathan Cassidy is named in the half-back line which prompts a move for Josh Lago Elis into attack as Oisin Kelm drops to the bench.

It has been eight years since Fermanagh last won a game in Ulster - a 2018 semi-final victory over Monaghan after they had stunned Armagh in the quarter-final.

There are two survivors from that team, Declan McCusker and Ciaran Corrigan, who have been named to start today.

Bonner makes two changes to the side named midweek, Sean Cassidy replaces Brandon Horan in the half-forward line, Joe McDade take the places of Conor Love at corner-forward.

Armagh Kieran McGeeney has been forced into a couple of changes with long-term injuries to Ben Crealey [broken ankle] and Callum O'Neill [shoulder].

Fit again Andrew Murnin solves one problem as he comes into midfield to partner Jason Duffy, while Paddy Burns is named to start in defence.

McGeeney has also sprung something of a surprise in goal with Ethan Rafferty set for his first start of the season in place of Blaine Hughes, while in attack, Conor Turbitt and Daniel Magee come in.

Armagh will start as selected with just one change to the subs bench, Callum O'Neill from the Clan Na Gael club wears 19 as Gareth Murphy drops out.

Fermanagh: Seán McNally; Luke Flanagan, Oisin Smyth, Shane McGullion; Jonathan Cassidy, Ronan McCaffrey, Declan McCusker; Stephen McGullion, Conor McGee; Sean Cassidy, Ciaran Corrigan, Josh Largo Elis; Joe McDade, Darragh McGurn, Garvan Jones.

Subs: Ethan McCaffrey, Aogán Kelm, Conor O’Hanlon, Brandon Horan, Oisín Kelm, Jack Largo Elis, Gary McKenna, Mattie McDermott, Cian O’Brien, Shaun McCarron, Conor Love.

Armagh: Ethan Rafferty; Paddy Burns, Aaron McKay, Peter McGrane; Ross McQuillan, Tiernan Kelly, Jarlath Og Burns; Jason Duffy, Andrew Murnin; Tomas McCormack, Darragh McMullan, Daniel Magee; Oisin Conaty, Conor Turbitt, Cian McConville.

Subs: Blaine Hughes, Joe McElroy, Ryan Duffy, Callum O'Neil (Clan Na Gael), Ciaran Mackin, Barry McCambridge, Oisin O’Neill, Tomas Galvin, Fergal O’Brien, Padraig O’Keefe, Aaron O’Neill.

    Referee: Barry Cassidy (Derry)

  10. There is a big performance in Fermanagh - McGurnpublished at 17:26 BST 25 April

    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:00 BST)

With eight minutes to go in last year's Ulster Senior Football Championship quarter-final, it seemed Fermanagh were on course to defy the odds against Down.

Leading by seven, it appeared the Ernesiders were set to move into a semi-final meeting with Donegal when it all unravelled.

Daniel Guinness kicked a two-pointer and then found the net for Conor Laverty's side and after a pair of frees from Pat Havern tied it up, a Ryan McEvoy goal would break Fermanagh hearts.

They go into this Saturday's quarter-final against Armagh at Brewster Park [17:30 BST] as outsiders once again and while expectations outside of the camp are not overly high, full-forward Darragh McGurn feels they can draw inspiration from last year's performance against the Mournemen.

"We should have had that game home and hosed with 10 minutes to go and didn't get over the line," the 27-year-old told BBC Sport NI.

"We know there are big performances in us and we have quality with a few players to come back, so we're ready to put in a big performance."

    Armagh are big favourites today.

Fermanagh will be disappointed with their league campaign relegated to Division Four, and they are up against it today against one of the best teams in the country.

  12. Galway advance in Connachtpublished at 17:23 BST 25 April

    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:30 BST)

Galway held off a Leitrim fightback to move into the Connacht final with a 1-20 to 2-12 win in Carrick on Shannon.

The gap was down to just three with five minutes to play, but the Tribesmen found a pair of scores to seal their win and a meeting with either Mayo or Roscommon.

  13. Old rivals to meet in Munster finalpublished at 17:21 BST 25 April

    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:30 BST)

All-Ireland champions Kerry have bounced back from their National League final defeat to Donegal by beating Clare 2-19 to 1-14 in Ennis.

Cork hit 4-18 to beat Tipperary by 15 points and setup a mouthwatering final in Munster.

That means that if Down cannot reach the Ulster final, they'll be relying on Kildare beating Westmeath next weekend to secure their Sam Maguire status.

  14. Perfect day for footballpublished at 17:18 BST 25 April

    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:30 BST)

    Odhran Crumley
BBC Sport NI at Brewster Park

The sun is out, there's hardly a whiff of a breeze in the air, the ground has hardened under foot and there's no rain!

Championship season is well and truly here.

After relegation to Division Four of the National League during the spring today feels like a huge uphill battle for Fermanagh, the county have not won an Ulster Championship clash since reaching the provincial final in 2018.

Armagh have appeared in the last three finals (losing all three), it feels like the two sides are on very different trajectories, but as Westmeath's win over Meath showed, anything can happen in football.

  15. Welcomepublished at 17:14 BST 25 April

    Fermanagh v Armagh (17:30 BST)

Hello and welcome to today's Ulster Senior Football Championship quarter-final at Brewster Park between Fermanagh and Armagh.

It's a first taste of championship action in 2026 for Declan Bonner's Ernesiders who are seeking to spring a surprise against an Armagh side that needed extra-time to come through the preliminary round against Tyrone.

Kieran McGeeney's men have been dealt a couple of injury blows during the week, with a broken ankle expected to keep Ben Crealey out foe the season, while Callum O'Neill is also absent with a shoulder problem.

Will this be enough to derail the Orchard today and can Fermanagh claim their first victory on the provincial stage since their semi-final win in 2018?

    Let's find out.
