West Ham teenager Princess Ademiluyi is poised for a move to American club Gotham FC.

The 19-year-old forward, who made her first team debut for West Ham in 2023, is in line to make the move before next week's transfer deadline in the Women's Super League.

The England Under-19 player has been at West Ham since the age of 12 and graduated from their academy before breaking into the first team - the first female player at the club to do so.

She spent part of last season on loan at WSL 2 side Charlton Athletic, making 13 appearances, before returning to West Ham in January 2025.

The Hammers are expected to receive a fee because she signed a long-term deal in 2024.

West Ham have signed four players so far in the window. The deadline is 23:00 BST on Thursday, 4 September.

Liverpool forward Leanne Kiernan has signed a new contract with the Women's Super League club.

The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international joined Liverpool from West Ham in 2021 and has scored 23 goals for the club.

She suffered a serious ankle injury on the opening day of the 2022-23 campaign and was ruled out for several months.

"It feels amazing and I'm really excited to get going again," Kiernan said after putting pen to paper.

"[My family are] delighted, honestly. It's like a second home for them as well as me and they love it over here. I could actually see myself, after I finish my career, in Liverpool. I feel like they're really enjoying coming over to see me.

"[The fans] have been unbelievable – really supportive throughout injuries, really supportive by sticking with us and I feel like they've been there for the good times and the bad. Hopefully we'll be able to celebrate with them a lot this year."

Brighton have signed Sweden forward Rosa Kafaji on a season-long loan from Arsenal.

The 22-year-old joined Arsenal last summer after a three-year spell with Swedish side Hacken.

She made 19 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, helping the club win the Women's Champions League.

Kafaji began her career at AIK, making her debut aged 15 in 2019 before moving to Hacken in 2022.

The forward made her Sweden debut in 2023 and has gone on to make 10 appearances, scoring two goals.

"We are excited to welcome Rosa to the squad for the season ahead," said Brighton boss Dario Vidosic.

"She's a versatile attacker who shows plenty of promise in the front line.

"She's a fantastic addition to the team for our new campaign and we're excited to see her integrate within our squad and style of play."

Brighton have signed French defender Maelys Mpome from Chelsea on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old joined Women's Super League champions Chelsea in 2024 following a four-year stint at Montpellier.

She made eight appearances in all competitions and was part of the Chelsea squad that won the domestic Treble last season.

The centre-back was called up to the France senior squad in 2025 but is yet to make an appearance.

"We're pleased to have Maelys with us. She's had some exposure to the WSL already and we feel she can really develop with us," said Brighton boss Dario Vidosic.

"She's a versatile defender with a lot of good attributes and we're looking forward to working with her."

Tottenham will travel to Spain for a pre-season training camp this week to continue their preparations for the upcoming Women's Super League season.

Martin Ho's side will spend a week in Spain after arriving on Monday 11 August and will play a friendly match while there, with further details to be confirmed.

Players who competed at Euro 2025 returned later in July and joined the squad at Tottenham's training ground.

Senior players Amy James-Turner and Hayley Raso have been granted permission not to travel, while three academy players - goalkeeper Sophie Jackson, defender Zara Bailey, and forward Jhanaie Pierre - will join the squad in Spain.

Among those involved are captain Bethany England, summer signing Toko Koga and Switzerland international Luana Buhler, who had been set to play for the Euro 2025 hosts, but was ruled out with a knee issue which Spurs confirmed was not an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
