The Republic of Ireland will face hosts Mexico, South Africa and South Korea in Group A in the World Cup if they come through March's play-offs.
Troy Parrott's last-gasp winner in Hungary, which came days after a double against Cristiano's Ronaldo's Portugal, secured an unlikely play-off for the Republic of Ireland.
Heimir Hallgrmsson's side travel to the Czech Republic in Prague on 26 March in the play-off semi-final.
If they win in Prague, then they would face a winner-takes-all final against either Denmark or North Macedonia at home on 31 March.
If they progress to the finals, Heimir Hallgrimsson's side would face South Korea in their opening match on 11 June in Guadalajara.
They would then take on South Africa in Atlanta on 18 June, and would finish Group A against hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico Stadium on 24 June.
The Republic of Ireland last played at a World Cup in 2002, when they were knocked out by Spain on penalties in the last-16.
