Sutton's predictions: Man City v Exeter Citypublished at 18:46 GMT 9 January
18:46 GMT 9 January
Manchester City have reached the final in the past two seasons and they are my pick to win the FA Cup this year. Pep Guardiola always takes the competition seriously and that won't change whatever happens in the title race.
Guardiola's side have paid the price for not putting games to bed in the past few days and those dropped points are making things easier for Arsenal at the top of the table.
I do not see City having any problems here, though, even if they field a second-string side.
Exeter City boss Gary Caldwell lifted the FA Cup in 2013 when he was part of the Wigan team that upset Manchester City in the final. What a great memory that must be for him, but his side are going out on Saturday.
It means Exeter's players, more used to the 8,700 capacity of St James Park, will not be as surprised with the scale of Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon
Goalkeeper Joe Whitworth is one of the few Exeter players to have experienced an away trip at Manchester City.
The 21-year-old, in his second season on loan at the Grecians from Crystal Palace, was an unused substitute when the Eagles lost 1-0 at City in March 2023.
"We're going there to win - there's no doubt about it," he told BBC South West. "I think that's the main mentality that the manager has instilled in us.
"Obviously, we are playing one of the best teams in the world but we're looking to go and win and that's what we want to do.
"So that's our mentality and hopefully we can go there and put the best performance that we can in and see where that takes us."
Whitworth has become a favourite at Exeter since joining in the summer of 2024. He has made 78 appearances for City in that time and has kept 10 clean sheets this season as part of an Exeter side that have the second-meanest defence in League One.
The lifelong Palace fan is hoping he can emulate his colleagues at his parent club when they beat Manchester City in May's FA Cup final at Wembley.
"It was incredible to see," Whitworth said. "If we can do something like that over Man City that would be incredible.
"I love the lads and the team and the manager. We've got a great group and hopefully we can go to Man City and put on a performance that the fans will be proud of."
Dias should have been sent off against Forest, panel sayspublished at 16:14 GMT 9 January

Manchester City's Ruben Dias should have received a second yellow card against Nottingham Forest, the Premier League's Key Match Incidents Panel has ruled.
Forest manager Sean Dyche was critical of the officials over some "bizarre" decisions in his side's late 2-1 defeat.
Portugal centre-back Dias was already on a caution when he clipped the heels of Igor Jesus in the first minute of the second half.
Referee Rob Jones opted not to take no disciplinary action, which the panel voted 4:1 was the incorrect decision.
The panel ruled: "Dias moves across the back of Jesus and clearly trips him, stopping a promising attack" and that "a second caution should have been issued on this basis."
The game was goalless at the time but City took the lead two minutes later.
After the game, Dyche claimed that Rayan Cherki's 83rd-minute winner should have been ruled out for a push on Morgan Gibbs-White by Nico O'Reilly, saying: "Whichever way you look at it it's a foul."
But the panel disagreed, unanimously voting that "the contact made was deemed below the threshold for a foul".
It is the second time this season Jones has failed to show a player a second yellow card. The panel voted he should also have sent off Newcastle United's Malick Thiaw at Bournemouth in September.
Forest have past history with Jones, too. In December 2023, he wrongly showed a second yellow card to Willy Boly against Bournemouth, and he should not have handed Gibbs-White a second booking at Brighton in September 2024.
Guardiola on Semenyo, Alleyne impressing and Exeter Citypublished at 13:07 GMT 9 January

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been speaking to the media before Saturday's FA Cup game against Exeter City at Etihad Stadium (kick-off 15:00 GMT).
Here are the key lines from his news conference:
Antoine Semenyo will be in the matchday squad for Saturday's FA Cup game but Guardiola does not know yet if he will start.
He said Semenyo has been on the club's radar "for a few years" and he is thankful the winger chose City as "many clubs wanted him".
More on Semenyo: "We need to reinforce for the next years and that's why the club made the gesture to take him and [he's] at the perfect age. The best years are to come."
On opponents Exeter City, who are 14th in League One: "They play really good. I saw their last two games and it wouldn't happen 10 years ago. Huge respect."
Guardiola said academy defender Max Alleyne has "definitely" shown he can step up to playing in the first team after making his debut against Brighton midweek. Guardiola added: "I didn't speak with him after the game. Before the game I just said be yourself. Just do it and have the courage."
He said "academy players never disappoint you" because "they know the club so it is easier".
Oscar Bobb is still injured and not training with the squad yet.
Why will Semenyo wear 42?published at 11:51 GMT 9 January

Some of you may be wondering why Antoine Semenyo will wear the number 42 after his eye-catching move to Manchester City.
The Ghana international emerged at Bristol City wearing the 42, which captured his status as an unpolished academy forward fighting for a senior place.
He switched for the number 24 upon moving to Bournemouth, but with the number unavailable at City, he's reverted to 42 - the iconic shirt chosen by Yaya Toure. Toure had worn 24 at Barcelona before moving to the Etihad.
In taking on the 42, Semenyo sees it as stepping into the lineage of dominant African Premier League performers, mirroring Toure's journey from 24 to 42 while writing his own story as the next powerful, driving force in sky blue.

What's on the agenda for Guardiola today?published at 11:37 GMT 9 January

There is only one name on the lips of those at Manchester City today and that is Antoine Semenyo.
Pep Guardiola's side have completed the £65m signing of the Ghanaian forward from Bournemouth and he will compete for a place in City's wide areas with the likes of Jeremy Doku, Savinho and Oscar Bobb.
The 26-year-old has not yet reached the peak of his career so City may well get to see his best years.
What does Guardiola make of the signing? How highly does he rate him? And will he go straight into the starting line-up for Saturday's FA Cup third round tie against Exeter?
We'll find out when the Spaniard faces the cameras this lunchtime.
'Outstanding' Semenyo 'a perfect addition' published at 11:33 GMT 9 January

We asked for your views on Manchester City's latest signing Antoine Semenyo and where you see the winger fitting into Pep Guardiola's attack.
Here are some of your comments:
Harry: Couldn't be happier. He's earned the move and only really has to compete with Savinho and sometimes Rayan Cherki. He's a completely different profile to his competition within the squad. We only create chances from the wings and we rarely score from them so he will help with that tremendously. I think for us he's suited for the right, but he's also injury cover for Jeremy Doku on the left. We can then interchange Phil Foden and Cherki more centrally. I've got a lot of respect for how Semenyo has conducted himself and I will be cheering for him the second he steps out of that tunnel.
Jonathon: A perfect addition, bringing pace on the break and the abilty to shoot from outside the box. Teams won't know what to do when we break with Erling Haaland and Semenyo. We have missed players who can shoot from outside the box with Rodri being out for so long, as it draws players from the low block.
Gene: Semenyo will impact in goals, assists and ball movement through the lines because he can play on either side. He's a much better finisher than Savinho, who still struggles. His vision and touch should help produce more goals. He's an overall outstanding player.
'A real privilege to be here' - Semenyo signs for Man Citypublished at 09:04 GMT 9 January

Antoine Semenyo says he is "so proud" to have signed for Manchester City and is confident his "best football is yet to come".
Semenyo, who has 10 goals and three assists in the Premier League so far this season, has joined from Bournemouth on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
"I am so proud to have joined Manchester City," he said. "I have watched City over the last decade under Pep Guardiola, and they have been the dominant team in the Premier League as well as achieving amazing things in the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.
"They have set the highest of standards and it's a club with world-class players, world-class facilities and one of the greatest managers ever in Pep.
"I have so much scope for improvement, so to be at this club, at this stage of my career, is perfect for me. It's a real privilege to be here.
"My best football is yet to come, I am sure of that. And City are in a great position – still involved in four competitions. I really feel I can help them have a strong second half of the season.
"The Etihad is my new home. I can't wait to play in front of the fans here and I hope to show everyone what I can do."
What do you make of your new winger?
What impact do you expect Semenyo to have?
And how does Guardiola fit everyone into his attack?

Antoine Semenyo has been a superlative performer for Bournemouth this season and his impressive skillset is sure to strengthen Manchester City.
The 26-year-old tops various metrics for the Cherries and is sure to be a huge miss for them for the rest of this campaign, leading the way in terms of goals and ball-carrying threat in the final third.
City boss Pep Guardiola may well have been attracted to Semenyo's capacity to press effectively out of possession, winning the ball back in the final third more often than any other Premier League player since the start of last season (51).
The Ghana international has scored 21 goals and assisted eight since the beginning of 2024-25 but it is his ability with the ball at his feet, both in terms of providing a goal threat and creating opportunities for others, that is a real point of difference in comparison to most top-flight forwards.
He ranks in the top three in the Premier League for shots (56) and chances created (37) directly following a carry.
Only two players have completed more dribbles over the past season and a half than Semenyo and one of those is new team-mate Jeremy Doku, presenting the tantalising prospect of the two evasive wingers operating on opposite flanks for City during the remainder of this campaign.
Guardiola may also have been drawn to Semenyo's impressive fitness record - he has missed just two Premier League matches since April 2024.
And Semenyo bowed out at Bournemouth in sparkling form.
A wonderful effort in the 4-4 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 15 December sparked a run of four goals in six games, the most recent of which was a dramatic added-time winner in what proved to be his last game for Bournemouth as they beat Spurs 3-2 on Wednesday.
