Gateshead have signed forward Josh Anifowose from National League South side Eastbourne Borough on a deal until the end of next season.

The 22-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee having scored twice in 35 appearances for Eastbourne this season.

"Josh is a very talented young player, and we are really pleased that he has come to join us," Heed boss Rob Elliot told the club website., external

"He works hard, wants to learn and will add quality and real attacking threat to the squad, and we are looking forward to working with him over the next 18 months."

Halifax Town have re-signed Oldham forward Billy Waters on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old joins the Shaymen for a third spell after spending the 2021-22 season and part of 2024-25 with the club.

Waters has made just two appearances this season, one for the Latics and one during a loan spell with Altrincham.
