Emiliano Buendia has a chance, but can't sort his feet out and Fenerbahce have bodies back. Buendia did accidentally catch the face of a diving Ederson before that opportunity, with the former Manchester City keeper needing some medical attention.

Tyrone Mings doing well, initially from the header and then the turn. This is where he is a good addition. A really good block, and Jadon Sancho is looking sharp at the start of this second half. Villa need that second goal to finish this off.

Almost a second within a minute of the restart as Tyrone Mings spins and shoots inside the home penalty area, and the ball is inches away from Ollie Watkins, who surely would have scored if he had got a touch.

They might have 'weathered the storm', but now the start of the second half will be played in heavy rain.

Excellent first-half performance. You know Fenerbahce are going to come at you, they have kept possession of the ball and created little openings. You can see players like Asensio are getting the hump because they are not getting their own way. This is a side that are used to winning on a regular basis.

Martin O'Neill's side have taken a massive step towards a play-off spot, but there is a big second half to come.

Reo Hatate opened the scoring before being sent-off. Auston Trusty's second just before the break puts Celtic in a commanding position.

It's been a wet few days in Braga, but Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche won't be using the conditions as an excuse should his side not get the three points.

"It's heavy [the pitch] at the moment and like you say, a lot of rain forecast Thursday, so we'll have to wait and see, but it's heavy," he said on Wednesday.

"I mean, it's playable at the moment, but it is quite saturated, but it's a good surface, so we hope it will take the rain however it comes, and you know, hopefully there's no problem with the game."

Tonight's match takes place at the Estadio Municipal de Braga, one of the most striking stadiums in world football.

Constructed for Portugal's hosting of Euro 2004, the stadium was carved out of the Monte do Castro quarry that overlooks the city.

Unlike conventional football stadiums, Braga's home has just two stands, one on each sideline.

The rock wall of the quarry is the backdrop behind one goal, while the opposite goal looks out to a sprawling view of the city.

It really is spectacular.

Nottingham Forest's opponents tonight, Sporting Clube de Braga, are based in the city of Braga in the far north of Portugal, northeast of Porto.

Founded in 1921, Braga have spent much of their 105-year history in the Portuguese top flight and are regarded as the closest challenger to the 'big three' of Benfica, Sporting CP and Porto.

Braga have never won the Primeira Liga but have won the Portuguese Cup (Taca de Portugal) and the Portuguese League Cup (Taca de Liga) three times each, most recently the latter in 2023-24.

The closest they have come to winning European silverware was reaching the 2010-11 Europa League final, where they lost 1-0 to north Portugal rivals Porto.

Braga come into this match off the back of one win in their last four league games, and a painful defeat to Vitoria Guimaraes in the final of the League Cup.

Auston Trusty has only scored once before for Celtic, what a time to get your second.

The American defender manages to poke a flick-on from a corner over the line to double the lead at in Bologna. A lead that the side with ten men can really cling on to.

It really should be 2-0. It comes off the referee. Morgan Rogers is irresistible when he gets the ball. Jadon Sancho's touch, it bobbles up off him. He should be putting that away.

Should be two for Jadon Sancho. He is played through, takes a heavy touch but still goes around Ederson in goal, only for Milan Skriniar to block the ball on the line.

Skriniar even has time to celebrate while the ball is still in play. It bounces off the referee and is turned into the net, but the assist by the official means Morgan Rogers' 'goal' does not count.

Unconvincing from Marco Bizot as he gets a hand to a cross, but only paws it into the danger zone, but luckily Emiliano Buendia is there to provide a cushioned, calm header back to the keeper.
