On how much confidence the team can take: "We try to take it game by game. We knew today would not be easy because they want to push to stay in the Premier League. We are in a good shape too because we haven't lost for a long time. Maybe at the end one point is enough to go to Europe. We keep pushing."
On his impact from the bench: "I know it was a difficult season for me, but when I come on I try to help the team. Today I am very happy to help the team."
On the fight for Europe: "We try to take it game by game. We think about it, myself I think about it because we are close."

Chelsea and Strasbourg supporters joined together for a march from the Wolfpack pub to Stamford Bridge before kick-off.
Banners were displayed, chants were aimed at the club’s ownership and flares were let off as members of the French top-flight club’s ultras group marched alongside others protesting against the shared BlueCo ownership.
The turnout was significantly larger than at the previous protest. One police officer said he believed there were around 500 fans in attendance, although organisers suggested the number was higher.

I am told Jim Thwaites travelled to London this morning, with Travis Binnion, who is part of Michael Carrick's coaching team but was also at Old Trafford for the FA Youth Cup game last night.
What an experience for the youngster.
He went to the Republic of Ireland in Manchester United's training camp a couple of weeks ago. He was also on their post-season trip to Asia.
Given his exertions last night, I can't be imagine he will be involved for any length of time this evening but it is clear United's hierarchy think a lot of the youngster, who is normally a number 10 but has played deeper in midfielder and youth level this season.

Even Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior admits his side are "running out of time" to qualify for the Champions League with four matches left.
They need to make up four points on fifth place Liverpool and any slip up against Manchester United could see them lose further ground on the clubs above them.
This feels like a must-win and a rallying cry has been issued before kick-off from players like Pedro Neto and Marc Cucurella while Moises Caicedo has extended his contract as a bit of positive news in a difficult few weeks.
With United having five senior central defenders out injured, this is an opportunity Chelsea can ill-afford to let slip.

After so much success in his first couple of months as Manchester United’s head coach, Michael Carrick is on the back foot at Stamford Bridge tonight.
His side have won just once in four games, starting with the defeat at Newcastle, and seem certain to have just one fit central defender; 19-year-old Ayden Heaven, who hasn’t started a game for Carrick since his arrival in January.
Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez are suspended, Matthijs de Ligt is injured and Leny Yoro was not on the team coach when it arrived at Stockport station to take the team to London on Friday.
Their position in the table is still healthy, but with home games against Brentford and Liverpool to come, Carrick needs to engineer a performance from his side.

What I saw from the performance - but not necessarily in possession - was an appetite to work hard, win duels, second balls and that gave them a foothold in the game.
Dominic Solanke was brilliant for them all evening, he held the ball and let them get up the park.
We saw some fight in them, which is what these fans have been questioning.
A pulsating game of football, it really was. We're breathless at the end.

Chelsea have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League home games against Man Utd (W6 D5), and are looking to win three in a row against them at Stamford Bridge for the first time since April 2006.
Following their 2-1 win in September, Manchester United are looking to complete the Premier League double over Chelsea for just the second time after the 2019-20 campaign.
Chelsea vs Manchester United has been drawn more often than other fixture in Premier League history (27). Just seven of those 27 draws have been 0-0, also making it the fixture with the most score draws in the competition (20).
