Dan: Much is spoken about the squad depth at Arsenal but special mention has to go to the performances of O.Goal and S.Piece this season. No idea where they’d be without them.

The team news won't be out for an hour or so but it will be interesting to see whether Kobbie Mainoo starts for Manchester United today.

Mainoo's only start so far this season was in the EFL Cup defeat by Grimsby.

Mainoo was consistently left on the bench by former head coach Ruben Amorim, who felt the 20-year-old was in competition for the same spot as skipper Bruno Fernandes.

Then, when Fernandes was injured, Mainoo was also out with a calf problem.

Mainoo came back for Wednesday's draw at Burnley, when he was a second-half substitute.

A start today would be another sign of his integration back into the fold.

Matt: Giving away a corner against Arsenal is basically like giving away a penalty to anyone else. Their conversion rate must be close to 50%.

Paul: Perhaps if the Pompey players concentrated on the ball instead of grappling Arsenal players they might keep the ball out… it’s a blatant penalty if not for the goal.

That would have been a pretty spectacular start for the Blades.

He's gone for villain to hero in the space of a few days after pushing Liverpool's Conor Bradley while he was down injured the other night.

"The game was always about being competitive and it was vital that we gave minutes to the players coming back form injury and who also deserve minutes for all there hard work up to now. I am pleased everyone came off injury free."

On if he thought his team had it after the first half's performance: "Not at all, we always have to defend the box for our lives when against these top teams.

"We have got a top goalkeeper there [Widell Zetterstrom], who is improving all the time, all the work he is doing the backroom staff is paying off. When you have a goalkeeper like that you have always got a chance.

"We were very competitive today."

Martinelli is not the biggest Arsenal player.

But his positioning and the timing of his jump is brilliant, and the direction of his header.

From a Portsmouth point of view, there's absolutely nobody anywhere near, trying to compete with him.

Two goals conceded far too easy. You cannot allow that against a team as good as Arsenal.
