Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk to Sky Sports: "I think over the last couple of years we've never had an easy game against them. It's always tough and you could see it in the first half. We didn't press well and were sloppy in possession. It was a well deserved 1-0 at the break.

"We had completely different energy after the break and got what we deserved I think."

On moving top of the Premier League: "It's too early to even make it important. We want to be on top of the league but we want to be there after the last match in May. The results have been good so far this season but there is a long way to go.

"It is still a work in progress. We stay humble and keep fighting."

On the injury to defensive partner Ibrahima Konate: "So many bodies around the ball and I think I headed him on his arm. Hopefully it is not too bad. We just have to see. You can be quite okay as player with an arm injury so hopefully he will be fine."

Leicester City

Leicester striker Jordan Ayew speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a difficult game. I think a draw is a fair result. When you play this type of game, it's difficult away from home. It was always going to be difficult and we managed to come away with a draw. We take it and move on.

"When you're on the bench, you want to come on and make an impact and help the team. It doesn't happen every time. It worked today. When I came on, I had a first chance and it was cleared on the line. I had another one and it went in with a bit of luck.

"It was important because we knew it was a difficult game. We wanted to win of course. We take it and on to the next one."

What an atmosphere here, it felt like we were in a nightclub after full-time, incredible celebrations by the Forest players on the pitch, led by a dancing Ola Aina, and the fans in the stands. It’s early in the season but I don’t blame them for having a party. Three Premier League wins in a row for the first time since 1999 and into the top four, above Arsenal.

When Aina wrapped things up with a goal of the month contender the supporters in front of me were looking up to the press box almost in disbelief. A long way to go in this campaign but it’s not just the results, it’s also the performances which are making the Forest faithful dream. A class above Leicester in their last game, now they’ve totally outplayed West Ham.

Ipswich Town were on course for their first Premier League win since April 2002, but can't get over the line.

Leif Davis scored for the hosts, but Kalvin Phillips was shown a second yellow card and sent off seconds after Ipswich thought they should have had a penalty.

The 10-men could not hang on as Jordan Ayew's equaliser in the fourth minute of added time rescued a point for Leicester.

Ipswich have now drawn five and lost five, but the wait for a first league victory goes on.

Southampton winning has amped up the pressure on Wolves' game with Palace. This seems like a must-win.

Russell Martin has the widest smile on his face as he finally guides Southampton to their first win of the season and ends Everton's five-match unbeaten run.
