    Everton 1-0 West Ham

West Ham United have conceded 14 first-half goals in 16 games, only Leicester City (16) have conceded more in the Women's Super League this season.

It's not hard to see why based on what we've seen so far at Goodison Park.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:27 GMT 15 February

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

Coming up to the half hour mark and it's been a busy one for West Ham stopper King Szemik.

She's just rescued her side again with a vital save after Verena Hanshaw's attempted clearance cannoned off Inma Gabarro in the six yard box and the Spaniard drilled at goal.

It was a sharp right footed stop from the Poland number one.

    Olivia Holdt (26 mins)

Defensively, this is getting a bit embarrassing for Aston Villa.

Olivia Holdt runs onto a block to the left of the box, beats a chellenge to get to the byline and then realises there is not a defender anywhere near her.

Holdt has all the time in the world to turn towards goal, take a few touches, then squeeze in a shot at the near post.

  4. CLOSE!published at 12:26 GMT 15 February

    Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham

    Big chance for Villa!

Miri Taylor is left unmarked to meet a Chasity Grant cross into the box from the right, but her cushioned volley is cleared off the line.

Phallon Tullis-Joyce goes down to get some treatment, presumably right on cue for his side to get some instructions from the bench.

Manchester United have been all over the shop.

Alice Bergstrom gets into a good crossing position at the byline but she waits too long to pick her pass and Veerle Buurman steps in before it can reach a red shirt.

The hosts then counter quickly up the left through Sandy Baltimore but it eventually fizzles out.

We've not seen much of West Ham in an attacking sense yet. The Everton back line are doing well to manage the threats of Shekiera Martinez and Viviane Asseyi so far.

Lauren James may be many things but never in a million years is she going to be a central striker. If Sam & Aggie are fit enough to be on the bench then why not give them a half each if the reason is they are, indeed, being "managed"?

    Dave, London

In fairness Dave, all three of the players you mentioned have had various injury issues in recent years, so why risk any of them from the off if they're not fully fit?

    Bethany England (19 mins)

    Tottenham weren't behind for long!

Once again, it's too easy for a Tottenham player - this time Olivia Holdt - to drive forward fom midfield.

She plays in Bethany England to her left, who cuts inside onto her right foot and shoots. Her effort takes a wicked deflection off Anna Pattern and loops over the despairing dive of Ellie Roebuck.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd attempts to dart down the wing and get a cross into the box for Chelsea but it's turned behind for a corner.

The Blues take it short with Lauren James swinging in a hopeful delivery that lands to the feet of Naomi Girma, but she slices her shot and Liverpool get it clear.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 12:19 GMT 15 February

    Everton 1-0 West Ham

Viviane Asseyi is in on goal after escaping the attentions of Everton defender Ruby Mace, but just as she latches on to Estelle Cascarino's searching long ball she's hauled to the floor in the box.

Cries go up on the away bench as they feel the challenge warrants a spot kick, but nothing given by referee Megan Wilson.

With the excellent Paul Green leaving the role of Head of Women's Football at Chelsea and Sonia Bompastor being given a new 4 year contract, Chelsea fans need to brace themselves for huge changes. It's the beginning of a new era and I'm not convinced of it being successful.

There are chants of "Paul Green, he is always a blue" on the 13th minute at Chelsea Women versus Liverpool.

Green was the head of football for 13 years and left in controversial fashion last week.

There was also meant to be a wider protest but it was rained off. The weather has been particularly bad today in south west London.

    Kirsty Hanson (16 mins)

    Aston Villa are level!

Noëlle Maritz plays Kirsty Hanson in behind the Spurs defence with a simple ball round the corner form inside her own half.

The Scottish striker wins a foot race with the defeder before slotting the ball past Lize Kop at her near post.

Great play from Hanson, but Tottenham boss Martin Ho will not be happy. That was far too easy.

This has been a really impressive start for London City Lionesses. We've seen patches of aggression from them under Eder Maestre but they have been by far the better team so far and bringing all the energy. The United fans have gone eerily quiet.

  16. CLOSE!published at 12:14 GMT 15 February

Man Utd 0-1 London City Lionesses

    Manchester United are living dangerously!

The home side fail to deal with a corner, and Freya Godfrey's low shot back into the box takes a deflection off Millie Turner.

It could go anywhere, but fortunately Phallon Tullis-Joyce is able to stick out an arm. The rebound from a tight angle is put into the side-netting.

Fuka Nagano slides the ball inside to Ceri Holland to drive towards the Chelsea box.

As she progresses forward the space opens up for a shot and she takes it, but it skews away, landing closer to the corner flag than the target.

    Tottenham have their goal!

Signe Gaupset is allowed to drive forward from midfield and spread the ball to Julie Blakstad on the left.

The Norwegian midfielder returns to ball to Gaupset, who takes a touch before rifling a shot past Ellie Roebuck at her near post.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:09 GMT 15 February

    Aston Villa 0-0 Tottenham

    Huge chance for Tottenham!

Villa defender Lucy Parker is dawdles on the ball inside her penalty area and is robbed, but Bethany England's effort from six yards out is smothered by Ellie Roebuck.

Huge let off for a Villa side who can't stop conceding goals.
