I’m afraid Spurs are just rubbish. I get all the injuries, but we play backwards and sideways ponderous football and that is on Thomas Frank. Time to go!

Spurs could do with a year in the Championship. We just need to clear ourselves out, sign a few diamonds, then claw ourselves back to mid table in the Premier League in 2027-28.

West Ham supporters like what they have seen so far and their current talisman Crysencio Summerville gave them encouragement with that shot that brought a routine save from Senne Lammens.

Summerville is very much West Ham's player in form and the big danger to Manchester United.

That feels like a big goal for Newcastle United.

On a night the visitors have lined up without a recognised striker, a centre-back, Malick Thiaw, has put them in front. It's the German's name now being repeatedly sung by a buoyant away end.

Spurs, by contrast, are booed off by the home support at half-time.
