It's key for Liverpool now to be organised, don't go chasing the game because ultimately Marseille will open up and you can go and pick them off when the space opens up.

Frimpong gets a little bit of luck but lovely speed and strength and he tries to put it into the path of Mo Salah, and he gets a little bit of luck but it hits the goalkeeper's right leg and goes in from the inside of the right post.

That should do it for Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski with the goal, stretching to turn the ball in at the second attempt after Marcus Rashford's cross was fired at him.

That one just hit the striker and was saved by the keeper but Lewandowski showed good athleticism, even at the latter stage of his career, to poke in the rebound.

It's brilliant from Jeremie Frimpong. He takes on his man with ease and gets a bit of luck but Liverpool won't care. That should be that.

Liverpool work it really well to find Jeremie Frimpong wide right. He uses that blistering pace to get to the byline and his cutback takes a nick off Geronimo Rulli and dribbles in.

Just like the home games against Benfica and Athletic Club, Newcastle United have ultimately made this look rather comfortable.

You just wonder whether head coach Eddie Howe may yet turn to his bench with one eye on Sunday's visit of Aston Villa.

    That is quite a luxury.
