Hopefully Spurs, Brighton and the London City Lionesses can kick on next season as the league is needing more competition. It will be interesting to see how the promoted sides take to the WSL.

Manchester City have now scored 17 set-piece goals and 14 goals via corners in the WSL this season - both are all-time records (excluding penalties) for a single WSL season.

Alex Greenwood, who assisted Jade Rose's opener, now has five assists for those corner goals, matching Katie Zelem's record from the 2022-23 season.

Skinner has to go, 9 points off 3rd and failing to beat any of the other teams in the top 5 just isn’t good enough, it’s been the same old story for the last few years and we need a change.

    Kit, Devon

Skinner and his coaching team have got to be moved on. 1 win from last 10 games is unacceptable.

    Mike, Bristol

Marc Skinner is so lucky to still be head coach. At any other team he would have been sacked long before now

    Emma Byrne
Former Arsenal and Brighton goalkeeper on Sky Sports

It will be interesting to see what Arsenal do in the second-half because we usually see when they have scored a couple of goals in the first half that their motivation tends to dip.
