When Arsenal bought David Raya, everyone went 'why are they buying him?' Because Ramsdale had a great season but what he has done is he has made them better.

He has put Arsenal closer to Man City and now you look at him, he is a complete keeper. He makes really good saves, he can play with his feet. He is the one now who you look at and thinking who are your top two keepers.

I always thought Alisson. Obviously Ederson at Man City, and then you have got Raya. He has taken Arsenal to another level.

It shouldn’t do, but I think because of the amount of time it’s been going on, there will be things that have gone behind the scenes that we wont have known about.

I thought it was a really good game and the applause Newcastle are getting from the fans just shows how much they enjoyed seeing what they did from their side.

"The referee awarded a penalty for a foul by Ederson on Gordon and issued a yellow card to Ederson, deeming that his actions were a genuine attempt to play the ball but denied an obvious goal scoring opportunity.

"The VAR checked and confirmed the referee’s call of penalty and a yellow card to Ederson."

But I think both teams will probably take a point after the week. For City, with losing Rodri and everything that has brought and for Newcastle, there is no shame in getting a point against Manchester City at home.
