Brentford have won their last four Premier League matches when leading at half-time, but the Bees did end up losing against both Tottenham and Manchester City after scoring in the first minute in their past two games.
Can Thomas Frank's side build on their advantage this time? Julen Lopetegui will certainly be hoping not as his difficult start in charge of West Ham continues. Just one win from five so far in the league, and a 5-1 thrashing by Liverpool in midweek.

Five goals happens surprisingly often - five players have managed it in the Premier League, I once saw Robert Lewandowski do it as a substitute for Bayern Munich. Lionel Messi has done it in the Champions League.

And the England forward has been involved in 35 club goals in 2024, with six goals and five assists this season showing that he is not a one-season wonder.
Here, today against Brighton, he has had the ball in the net four times, with one effort ruled out for offside and hit the post.
What a signing Palmer has been since joining from Manchester City in a £42.5m deal last summer.

Wolves have lost more Premier League games against Liverpool than they have vs any other opponent (16). They’ve lost 14 of their last 15 against the Reds in the league, with the exception being a 3-0 home win in February 2023.
Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in 65% of their Premier League games against Wolves (13/20), the second-highest rate of any side to have faced another 20+ times in the competition, after Chelsea against Middlesbrough (67% - 20/30).
Wolves remain without a league win so far this season (D1 L4) – only in 2003-04 (first seven) and 2019-20 (first six) have they gone longer without victory from the start of a Premier League campaign.
