What a start by Man CIty. They aren't really celebrating too much, they are discussing.

Before he came here, he scored lots of these types of goals at Borussia Dortmund, this isn't his usual type of goal at City.

They are under pressure from Burnley, but what a turn from Doku, and the dink from Haaland is special.

And just like that, Arsenal are knocked off the top of the Premier League table.

Erling Haaland's 24th Premier League goal of the season - a calm and composed finish - after being sent clean through sends Manchester City into the lead.

It came moments after Martin Dubravka had made a superb one-handed save to push Rayan Cherki's attempt onto the post.

A heavy touch lets Gabriel Gudmundsson down and Bournemouth charge forwards through Alex Jimenez, but his cross is quickly cut out.

The Spaniard sped off there, but he's gone down and receiving treatment now after Gudmundsson caught him with his studs.

Jimenez heads off the pitch for further treatment and Bournemouth are temporarily down to 10.

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Man City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Before the League Cup final, Arsenal were the favourites to win the whole thing for me. This game tonight, people will fancy Man City to win because Burnley haven't shown any form. It will be interesting for City with an important FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.

If it's business as usual, you'd be surprised if they dropped too many points between now and the end of the season.

I think Man City are in a different groove and a different mindset at the moment. They look like the real deal. I'm glad Pep didn't make too many changes. It's a strong team tonight and I think Man City will win this comfortably and it will send Burnley down.

Pep Guardiola has spent the last few minutes sat on his own watching his players go through their warm-ups at Turf Moor.

Will he still be Manchester City's manager at the beginning of July - the 10th anniversary of when he took charge in 2016.

Guardiola has guided City to 19 trophies in that time yet he could end this campaign with 21.

Having already secured the Carabao Cup, City face an FA Cup semi-final against Southampton at Wembley on Saturday (17:15 BST) - live on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer - while they are hunting down Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title.

Burnley boss Scott Parker, speaking to Sky Sports: "We have a huge challenge ahead of us and we need to respect that. We are going to have to ride our luck at certain moments and we are looking forward to that."

On the players being in high spirits despite their league position: "There is one thing through the adversity and the challenges there has been togetherness and that has kept us in some sort of good stead when results haven't been what we wanted. In terms of their endeavour, that side has been there for everyone to see. We are hoping we can hold onto that."

On what he said to his players before tonight's potential relegation: "That's not even been the topic really. The next challenge hits us tonight and that is the world we are in. There is no time to look at the future."

Trevor Meredith scored the winning goal that won Burnley the English top-flight title in 1959-60 with a 2-1 win against Manchester City at Maine Road on the final day of the season.

However, Meredith did not get a winners' medal because league rules stated he was not eligible to receive one as a reserve player.

But 65 years later, Meredith finally receives his medal tonight in front of his own fans, who heartily applause the honour.
